The logs should show who or what started it. It may be another service or the system. These tools won't be able to show you what isn't in the logs. That is how they would work. You could look for system logins around that time too

Also, there is something you can try. In IIS, change the maximum worker processes from 5 to 1 on the Solarwinds app pool and see if it resolves the issue. If it doesn't fix it, change the setting back.

Do you have any other modules installed? Do you have custom code for your site? Have you modified any website files?

There could be a few reasons why it would state this. One is that the it is unsupported, another is that the MIB is for a trap and not a SNMP query, or it could be that the MIB is not correct for this device type.

hmmmm. I don't know how SolarWinds NPM knows the trap is coming from a device engine ID that already exists if it is not stored somewhere. The issue that I am having is with SNMPv3 traps from a McAfee firewall. I need to see if there is a way to see if the engine of the firewall (that is sent with the SNMPv3 trap…
