Yes. I did. I put the main license on the primary poller and also upgraded. The restarted and it cleared up.

Try something like this, since it the status is not being sent by the switch as critical. It is displayed as Faulty or Not present, which is a status that could be displayed by SolarWinds. Otherwise you will have to put multiple lines fro what you do or don't want statuses for. You can refine this as alerts start coming…

OK. That is what I am saying. It refers to SQL and not the server itself. You want to cap this in SQL so that the server operating system has memory to use and SQL never eats into it.

I'll always just be halfway there. lol. There is no catching you aLTeReGo . You are like a runaway train here!

Looks like this needs to be added to 11.1 and hopefully is already in 12

Take a look at one of mine. See if it works. First, send me what is in the description field for the ASA under Node Details on the SolarWinds website node page. If ASA is not present, my script will need to be adjusted. Mine should work for what you need though. If there is not enough room, a line can be added to delete an…

Have you tried using the custom pollers that are posted in content exchange. I have found that they do work with these filers. You have to add them to each filer in NPM and customize the node page to display the info. It is not real pretty, but it gives you something.

Thank you! I am anxiously waiting for NPM 11.x to be approved.

tdanner In this specific example, how would I set specific datetime formats in place of $start and $end. Would $start be replaced with something like this: 02-20-2017 12:00:00 AM $swis = connect-swis ... some options ... $uris = Get-SwisData $swis "SELECT Uri FROM Orion.Nodes WHERE Caption IN ('Node1', 'Node2', 'Node3')"…

I am sure he is talking about SCOM. Seems like I have seen comments like this before. And he actually is right to some degree, but I also know that it is a Microsoft product, it has been around since like around 2000, it is expensive, but it still has it's limitations. Especially, since all servers are not Microsoft and…

It's just the powershell monitor that is included in SAM. You can script it. Just have to have a user account that SAM can use to run the Powershell script locally or remotely against the host machine.

I had it disabled. He was too high up there. lol. No I didn't. idk
-
It has always been there at least since NPM 9

I agree with the additional column. I also would like to see the option to rearrange the Job columns.
-
Let me know if that works. If it doesn't, I have also seen some issues with NTA causing this issue. You could uninstall NTA and see if it still does it. If it is fixed, you know the issue is with NTA. Then reinstall and see if it is still there. After that, I am out of ideas. You would need to open a Solarwinds support…

smiffy85 That is exactly why there is a Feature Request in. lol. You can use an existing menu bar and assign it to a tab. After you create a new menu bar, you can't change the name of it afterwards (that I am aware of). You also cannot change the name of the default tabs (or Add a new one).
-
This doesn't get you a new tab. This gets you a new menu bar to use within a tab. The tabs are Home, Network, Applications, Configs, Storage, Virtualization, etc. The tabs are currently used for the modules, but we would like the ability to create our own new CUSTOM tab (which we could associate a new menu bar with).

How did you scp the files to the VM?
-
Do you know how to get it to NOT send the username that is logged into the box. Whenever I remove a username field and try to send ssh://192.168.1.1, it uses the default user logged into windows to ssh into the device. I am using Putty as my ssh app. If I manually edit the .bat file with a username, it will send the…

Welcome and congratulations!

I don't have my Super Thwacker badge yet! lol
-
Thank you. I didn't even realize it until this post. lol. I knew I was close a couple days ago. Thanks CourtesyIT

I too would love to hear the fix for this. I have the same issue all the time. The auto indexing isnt working for me either.
-
Sure. Just wondering how mine compares. I have an actual content post that is over 21,000. I am only interested in actual content that is being shared. And I'm up to the challenge! lol
-
Thank you. And yes it was IE. I used Firefox and had no issues. Hopefully it will be working in IE soon.

I agree. In larger organizations, NPM would be controlled by System Admins or "Server people" and SQL Admins. NCM would mostly be used fully by network personnel. The "Network People" would not need full admin rights for the NPM application. They should have NO control over other users. System Admins should not be able to…
-
I agree. Open a ticket. This is something new and also needs to be tracked. Sounds like something that may need a fix. There should not be a configuration error that causes this.
-
I'll settle for the third package. I'll take your word that it is great. lol
-
I really like your template. I didn't think about making the transfer protocol a selection. duh.

As far as adding filers, I have added the filer using SNMPv3 and used some of the UDPs that were already out there in content exchange. I have also added my own UDPs for more detailed information from other MIBs. I also have a view setup with tabs for the different pieces of the filer (vfiler, volumes, qtrees, stats,…
