Thanks, my issue turned out to be bad community string. When device where deployed they didn't have the correct fig. Once I updated the community string , another VLAN came up and I just deleted the unknown. Every thing is good now. Thanks for responding.

Turns out my issue was with the community string not matching whats in SW and on the device. Not sure if that helps, but for your issue may do a show log on the device if you haven't already

I have the same issue if anyone has an answer. I have about 5 devices that have this status. There was a total of 15. All of which the config where updated, test in "edit properties" then listed resources, added the active VLAN and then remove the one showing unknown. This cleared up the " Unknown state" message but not…
