I solved this problem by using MRTG to poll my 7206 and set up MRTG to send email alerts when the temperature goes out of a certain range. I then imported the webpage that MRTG creates to put the graph in one of our Orion overview pages. It's one way to get custom MIBs into Orion, but it doesn't use Orion alerts.

I am still seeing frequent packet loss statistics on only one of my sites. When I keep a running manual ping to the router in question, i get 0% packet loss, but Orion keeps reporting 40%+ Has everyone elses problems with this gone away?
