The online demo won't show me what I need to know to answer the 7/25 question: Would someone who is able to render this resource be so kind as to post a screenshot of it here?
-
It becomes a "guess what the question writer was thinking" scenario. In this case, is the writer parsing down the statement to every technicality of the mechanisms implemented or is the writer just going by the gist of service provided. The answer to this difference completely changes what the "correct" answer will be.

Are you going to produce more copies of the SysAdmin board game to put in the store and offer as the weekly prize?
-
So are they saying that "web help desk" is a correct answer per the "you got it wrong" reference?
-
I also see a winner for week 2 but not week 1. They want to be really sure that the right person gets the Spotify gift card.
-
The "Grand Prize" for the month costs less than the last weekly prize. Interesting.....
-
Wait, now I'm confused. The hint article doesn't mention any compliance requirement for physical security. Was it in the article somewhere and I just overlooked it?
-
So who won the monthly grand prize?
-
That's OK. I also reflexively clicked the hint button before actually reading the question and answer choices. They should still fix the hint link though. The questions make a good spring-board for reading an article as education on a topic, which is what I think the whole point of this is supposed to be in the first place.

I can see the initial page but if I try to follow any links in the 'demo' the page gets blocked. Are we able to see the answer on the initial demo page or do we need to be able to run some of the demo functions in order to get to the answer?

That's why they need to stop passing Omnibus funding bills and unbalanced budgets.

The real question is whether the StatsD collector plugin is consider a Stats collector plugin, or "Stats" is a typo and they intended to label it as "StatsD", or if a "Stats collector plugin" is intended to be a different entity from a "StatsD collector plugin". Does anyone know?

Hmmm..... this one looks tricky. So if a VM has "one or more child objects... in Down state", does it mean that this VM is not "running" and thus should not be counted in the number of running VMs, or is it considered "running" but just not optimally?
-
Wait... for Wednesday's question, did the answer options that are considered correct change or were the answer choices just reworded to be more clear while the fact of being correct or not remained unchanged? One of the choices can be inferred to be correct but is not explicitly stated in the hint. So do I infer or not?
-
The hint page states that there are reports that "View agent performance metrics" and I'm not sure what the technical definition of an "agent" is in this context (i.e. are "Networks" considered a type of "Agent")?
-
So you thought that a datastore and a data server were the same thing?
-
Has anyone used the private message system since the change-over? I click "Send Message" and then nothing on the screen changes. How do I know that my message was sent?
-
Has anyone actually gotten this question correct? The answer appears to be 'none of the above' but if you don't select any of them you can't submit the answer (the 'submit' button is grayed out).
-
Sorry, yes, I was referring to the Dec 5th question. Essentially, is this statement true or false?: "Customers who are running older versions of Windows Server or SQL Server will lose support for their products." I found three different references in the hint that all indicate or imply that this is a true statement but…
-
Good, it was the definition I originally thought it was. I originally paused the screen to read the text when the appropriate window came up and didn't finish listening to the audio. The audio does, indeed, clarify the narrator's definition of "option box".
-
I can't find the January 2018 mission. Has it posted yet?
-
Darn "all of the above" option! One of the options is explicitly stated in the hint, making it the obvious "best answer", but the other choices are indirectly implied but not explicitly stated, making "all of the above" a possible, but not certain answer choice. Now I'm stuck doing a "what was the question writer thinking…

The 7/26 Online Demo won't even load for me on my Government Network:
-
For today's question, are we to assume that you have a typo or are you being tricky in seeing if we can spot the error you made in writing out the potential answers?
-
Hey! Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. We get fast, easy points AND see what the new features of each SolarWinds product updates are. A Win-Win situation.
-
I can't find any documentation of Netflow Traffic Analysis being part of NCM. Has anyone else found any?
-
So do I "read between the lines" or "stick to what is explicitly stated" for the 4/30 question?
-
I think it displays the same message for any wrong answer, giving the same explanation for all of the incorrect responses.
