  • Yeah I added that text to all the email alerts already; I didn't add it to the vent logs and haven't seen anything when I looked matching up to the alerts but it's worth a shot. I haven't dived into the SQL tables though. I have a support ticket open however and just uploaded the diagnistics file. Thanks!

  • Ok, thats good. But is there a better source for what we lose when we dump SNMP and go WMI? The setup shows a link (SolarWinds Knowledge Base :: What polling method should I use?) but I'd liek to see a list or side by side comparison if possible.

  • Unfortunately, that isn't seeming to work. I have a node that went down the other day (non recoverable) and it generated two of these 'extra' alerts as well as the expected one. To see what is happening, I re-managed it today and I have only seen the expected alert, not any of the unexpected ones. I will continue to…
