No. Mine says: "SolarWinds Orion Network Performance Monitor 9.1 SP5 1995-2008 All Rights Reserved"
-
My thanks to tech support: I was given the pre-release of SP5 and all of the assorted web errors ceased.

I read Brandon's post at and look forward to the improved licensing coming in June. That will be a huge improvement. Thanks for all of your help, Brandon!
-
Back to Peter and Brandon: Turns out that the licensing number on the bottom right does not always update, even when refreshing the page. Logging out and back in always seems to fix it. Thanks
-
I would also like to agree that the licensing is crippling for people with low % of used addresses over many subnets/vlans. I would also like to point out that bshopp's point: If you do not want to scan the whole subnet, you can delete out the addresses you are not concerned about and they will not be scanned and will not…

Can a poller address a single row within a column? If so, could I define separate pollers for each row, then add them together in a transform?
-
I would like to see an option to turn off color coding of a subnet's status on a subnet-by-subnet basis. In the current release, if you have a small subnet used for a WAN link which only has 4 addresses, it is marked in red as dangerously full. Since there is no need for any other devices to be added, having it be red just…

Problem solved. Thanks.

No, the UPS has three phases so the table includes an output power value for each phase. I'm not very interested in the power for each phase, but in the total of the three rows. I want to track the change in total KVA as virtualization projects take hold.
-
I also have been having problems with network maps failing to load, but not consistently. Sometimes when the page refreshes, the other contents load but the maps are replaced with spinning arrows.
-
Can't. Went back and ran the Config.Wizard again and that cleared that part of the problem. Now APM seems fine. Application Monitor tab is still there, though it brings up a blank Application Issues screen.

Same error here. Reference ticket 83758.

Perhaps unpredictable is the wrong word choice, but look at the quality of the headings. First of all, this shot is limited to a Node Details view. The column headings for columns 2-4 get named the same as the poller. Column 1 gets named Display_Name - Label even though it is showing data from a different poller. I think…

I went back and looked at my notes and some test files from the past. One of the problems with the black background, which is easy to add into the BODY tag in the globalStyles.css, is that the text settings in BODY are being used in a variety of places. For example, suppose you construct a view that includes "Nodes with…

It's been a while since I tried it. I will have to try it again and see which elements were the problem.

Add us as well. We are migrating our APs to LWAP now. There isn't much use for the module then, and very little on the AP can be monitored once it is migrated.
-
Brandon, The Rogue AP reports list the SSID, MAC, and Channel of the rogue AP, along with which WLC they were read from. We know that within the WLC is the additional information of which actual access point is seeing the rogue, and its other characteristics like whether WPA or WEP is enabled. Is there any way this…

Also, is there any way in the transform equation to reference a particular table line? I would actually like to sum the three lines.
-
Is there any way to "graft" the chart from the node details page into this summary page via a miscellaneous?
-
We would appreciate a hotfix if the service pack is going to be a long wait.
-
Glad to hear it. I use that same OID to monitor Powerware as well.
-
Also APM tab now fails with: APM Service Not Available The Web Console is unable to communicate with the APM Service Engine.
-
That sounds more like "set up lots of pollers" and "good luck with that" than the follow marketing from the Solarwinds website: "ESX Virtual Machine Auto-summary Orion NPM can be configured to automatically discover new virtual machines added to any VMware ESX host server. When virtual resources are constantly moving, it…
-
Ichance, can you show a screen shot (or a partial) that shows how you implemented the CPU and MEMORY on the map? I'd like to see how you visualized it. Thanks.
-
Check your configuration for Views By Device Type. When you upgraded to 9.1 it should have set this so that your ESX nodes used the new ESX Details view. It sounds like maybe that didn't work in your case. Where is that configuration? My ESX nodes are identified as a machine type VMware ESX Server, but it does not use the…

Can you give a syntactical example?
-
I removed the AM folder and reran the website ortion of Config.Wiz. The tab is still there.
-
I already had uninstalled using Add/Remove programs--it did not stop the Application Monitor from functioning or remove it from the website.
-
My bad. I did not see the ipMonitor. Might I recommend Orion?
