Thanks for the reply Fodome. I tested this out by deleting the file and adding a brand new one with some made up lines and the monitor fired off the alert. I knew that this is the way it worked with the Event Log but I was thinking the file watching might be different. I did not know about the information notifications…

That is what I was told. That this type of monitor will only generate informational alerts and will never be green or red unless it can't perform the action.
