The yawning money pit opens when you have both ACI and tetration and your Cisco rep starts telling you how you now need Network Assurance Engine to tie it all together and get the complete view of the network. Tetration and NAE solve the problem they told you ACI would be solving but you won't have much spare change if you…

I know this has been mentioned by others before me, but I would love to see the ability to add Link Utilisation when I am monitoring one side of the link. I know I can add labels and interface variables, but for a NOC View WAN map this is just not the same as having lines that dynamically change their colour based on Link…

Agreed. That sounds like a useful addition.

Just to be clear, I have not edited my comment at any stage. I was trying to be helpful. I don't have the "correct" answer - I just read the whole document and tried to provide advice based on what I thought was a better answer than the one I submitted and got wrong. I absolutely agree with asheppard970 - questions that…

Thanks very much for clearing this up, Marcos. I really appreciate your explanation.

I second this - not just for MFT but all orion web facing pages. I have multiple pages that I'd like to give customers access to from anywhere but can't as I want to lock down access to particular IP Ranges. 2FA would allow me to do this with far greater peace of mind.

I used to do IT support for small businesses. I found old laptops were great for low resource linux firewall / NAT routers. They had an integrated KVM and UPS (if they had battery left). As long as you kept them plugged in to the power and added a second NIC you could install any number of packages and turn them into a NAT…

Be careful when answering that you select the instances running in Azure and not AWS - just saying ...... I may or may not have picked up a red x in my haste to check all of the VM names and forget to check that they were running in two separate environments

I saw one icon as red but when I hovered over the icons I saw an even number that were in critical state. Luckily this was the correct answer so try hovering over the icons and not just taking them at face value. Hope this helps

No offence taken. I understand how that would have looked like I had edited my post. Enjoy your weekend.

Day 14 is asking for Select All that Apply but is a single choice radio button

It's not a huge problem in Australia. Our bandwidth tends to be slower (but adequate). We tried doing a Cyber Monday. It wasn't a huge success so now people tend to spread their shopping across the weeks before Christmas. We don't have crazy sales on a particular day any more - or if we do people take no notice and we get…

I got Wednesday's question wrong and looking back at it now it seems the answers have changed. Any chance of a reset for that question, please?

There seems to be a dud link for the survey: We're sorry, we couldn't find that survey Can we get an option "I tried to take the suurvey..."
-
Yeah, same here. I'm assuming I chose the same answers as @gcp - the text that came up at the end was the two answers I chose
-
I'm not sure today's questions (Q12 - Tuesday June 18) line up with the answers correctly. I chose the "right" answers according to the hint but was told I am incorrect. The text box indicated I chose an answer that I did not. I am being deliberately vague as I don't want to ruin this for everyone else. Happy to provide a…

Can you please clarify the Grand Prize? The text says it is an Echo Dot but the links go to an Echo Spot.
-
I can't explain it. I have not edited my post. I would not bother stating this if I had edited it but I have not.

I think “Observability”: Just a Fancy Word for “Monitoring”? A Journey From What to Why should be the correct link for Question 8
-
That was a very quick fix - I probably should have just waited
-
Read the pdf. I thought there was a problem as well but the pdf clears it all up for you

Looks like Question 16 has more than one correct answer but the response is a radio button. Can this please be changed to a checkbox (or one of the correct answers removed)?
-
Just a heads-up. Day 4 (November the 10th) question asks you to select all that apply but is a single choice question.
-
Should Question 12 be a "Choose all that apply" response? Seems like more than one of those answers would be correct
-
Congrats to all the winners

I started out as a science graduate working in mineral exploration in the mining industry. After working several contracts in far flung corners of Australia (working seven days a week for six week stretches, having one week back home) I found my life unfulfilling and I was missing my family. My wife was expecting and one…

At the moment I am monitoring a few customer fabrics - getting SNMP data from the leaves, but having the ability to get ACI-level metrics from the APICs would be hugely beneficial. I can already get this information from the APIC, but integrating the important information into a single console would be very desirable for…

I answered that I have completed the survey and it told me that was the wrong answer

I agree that the fourth paragraph hints at SAAS, but the question also asks how HCO is deployed. The 4th paragraph is talking about Solarwinds Observability, which is a different product. Maybe I am being too picky - just trying to share with you my thinking on this one.

This side of the world is somewhat different. Driving home from a customer meeting yesterday my car's thermometer was reading 44 degrees Celcius (111.2 degrees Farenheit). I doubt it was entirely accurate but was definitely nice floating in the pool with a beer for a while.
