Agreed. I think this question might be meant to have checkboxes but radio buttons have been used instead. I'll happily wait before committing on this one.

I also said I got the question wrong. I wasn't being misleading. I think you are blaming the wrong person for your mistake, Peter. On Thu, Oct 4, 2018 at 11:30 PM petergwilson

They were all running but some of them were running in AWS, not Azure. I made the same mistake. We live, we learn On Mon, Jul 23, 2018 at 8:35 PM, shaneo

Thanks Steven. Happy to be here and represent from Down Under

Agreed. It took some digging before I was ready to submit my answer but am definitely enjoying the challenge this month. A very enjoyable mission so far

Just a quick note about the text of the shortcut. The screen above shows: * Download a Free Trial of Database Performance Analyzer! * Take a screenshot of the console showing either one physical or virtual server successfully backed up. * Submit your screenshot below. Backups don't really make sense for DPA - following the…

Be sure to look at Page 5 of the datasheet and not just Page 3. You may feel you have arrived at the correct answers from Page 3 but trust me Page 5 has the rest of the correct answers. I picked up an early red X by not reading the hint properly

I'm Australian and cannot recall ever hearing the term Coldie used for beer - most people would say "tinnie" for a can of beer and "stubbie" for a bottle (a stubbie is a short bottle and a big bottle is a longneck). I will also cheerfully admit that I don't know everything and there could be vast numbers of people using…

This feature request has been open for some time. I am creating WAN bandwidth maps for customers and repeatedly explaining that I need visibility on both sides of the link to visually display link utilisation (apart form a text label). I would not have thought this was particularly hard to implement. It is functionality…

It is puzzling that you see my post as having been edited. For what it is worth I assure you I have not edited my post. Feel free to ignore me in future, I was only trying to help. I am sure we both have better things to occupy our time. Sorry that you got the question wrong based on my post. All the best and enjoy your…

D'Oh. I missed the last one because I didn't include the hyphen. Great mission, though. Very fun.
-
That has worked for me with previous shortcuts, so I would say you should be fine.

Yeah baby! Bug testers by geographical accident

Agreed! I've tried adding them up a few times now and can't quite get to any of the provided answers. Waiting until tomorrow before I commit to an answer on today's question.

My answer now says that I participated in a poll but it is still marked as wrong. I chose my answer based on what happened - I may not have done the right thing but should it be counted as incorrect?

My focus this year has been on AWS (moving past just deploying EC2 instances and working out multi-AZ redundancy, load balancing, RDS and Elastic File Store). I've also spent a large amount of time with Cisco Data Centre technologies like ACI and tetration. I'm starting to learn a lot of Python and interaction with these…

Definitely some question repetition happening at the moment - Feb 26 question (Q17) is the same as Feb 22 (Q15):

Thanks for the reply. That was exactly the behaviour I was expecting. I went back and had a closer look and it was actually another alert that was being triggered. I had to change the wording of my test alert to figure it out - thought I was going crazy, but yeah just a double-up. Appreciate the confirmation!

Oh Wow OK. I did not realise downloading the config outside of SFTP or SCP was possible. Always a good day when I learn something new. Thanks for letting me know.

I assume here that you are trying to back up your APICs using NCM. I don't think that is going to work too well for an APIC cluster. NCM uses SSH to log in and do a 'Show Run' then downloads the resulting file. APIC Clusters have their own backup mechanism…

I've just come across this post as I'm trying to do something similar at the moment. Very impressive work and result! I'm interested in how you are retrieving the VPN link info via SNMP - which MIB are you using (and what modle Meraki firewalls are monitoring)? I've run up MX-67 and MX-100s in our lab environment and can…

Awesome! Thanks for the speedy response. I thought that was the case but never hurts to check Regards, Felix On Tue, Aug 7, 2018 at 3:55 PM, pheonixnyte

Thanks David. That certainly does help clarify. Much appreciated.

This looks like a great resource. Thans very much for taking the time to create it and share it with the community. When I added it to a dashboard the times looked out (I configured downtime between 21:00 and 02:30 the next day but the widget reported this as 11:00 to 16:30). My timezone is Australian Eastern Standard Time…

Interesting thing I have noticed after an unexpected leaf switch reboot on the weekend - the descriptions are now OK on the leaves that rebooted, but sill doubled up on the leaves that are yet to reboot. Hopefully this will come up if anyone else is searching for this in the future. Not ideal to have your data centre leaf…

Hi There, Are you monitoring your devices via SNMP? If so you should be able to determine bandwidth utilization for any interfaces you are monitoring. Your post mentions IPAM - that tool is an IP Address Management product so please make sure you are using NPM or NTA if you want to get an idea of your bandwidth…

I put in a feature request for this about a year ago - Please vote it up so this can be considered as it would be a very useful addition.

Can you please clarify the licensing when HA is being used - Do I need to buy 2 NPM licenses and one HA license or do I just need one NPM and one HA license? My initial understanding was that I only need the HA license as the topology is Active / Passive and the second node is only used when the primary node is down.…

I have several instances with NPM250, NCM and NTA on the same server. I run the sql on a different server and one additional server runs the NTA database. 2 of these setups also house SAM and SRM on the primary NPM server with absolutely no strain. The NPM server has 4 cores and 16GB of RAM.
