Hello, No update other than saying that this is an open enhancement (44527). If others are interested, please vote here for motorola rfs7000

All, Hopefuly, this will help you recap'ing in your mind the supported combinations for Pollers (1 or more) - Objects (1 or more), as far as displaying multiple time series on chart resources. (45403, 45776) There are 4 tables, one for each type of element: Interfaces, Nodes, Volumes and Others (via UnDP). Hope this helps…

Thanks all, Captured and opened a fix request (84898).

Capturing this thread as input to the request to improve NCM's inventory reports (68290). This is well identified and close to the top of the to-do-list. Note this interseting use case (not related to Inventory report, but to downloading config from a Linux server vs. network device)

Hi SLXer, Good input, tks for taking the time. I'll contact you off line to discuss about this lack of wireless historical info and impact on ability to troubleshoot issues.
-
Thank you all for your input on this. Can you elaborate on the average number of sub-interfaces you would need to manage, per SSG, as well as your number of SSGs (most of you have already given this info) Thank you
-
Hi, The list of what we are working on is posted here. This is still not part of it. I will be contacting you off-line to collect more information.
-
Tks all, I am interested to hear other NPM users chime-in and tell me about this support (lack of), in this thread. (16938, SysObjId:44844)
-
Tks Bahlkris. On our end, I'll ping dev and see what they might have seen in this area and report here.
-
Now I see. Let me crank on that.

Hi booloo, Seems like you need an NCM template for the IPS. There isn't one on Content Exchange, but this recently uploaded tools should help you building one: Let us know whether this helps or not.

Hi jonchill, No, you are not supposed to lose any functionality (some things are addressed differently, though. The blog post proposes an EOC based deployment to help with the One-NCM / Multiple-NPM deployment). You don't need to uninstall anything. The upgrade should take care of it. I'll ping you off line, to make sure…

The issue is that the CCM - Is a cisco device - And supports the Host Resource MIB that has CPU and Memory, which NPM can work with. So why doesn’t it work? This is because it’s a Cisco device, therefore we expect CPU and memory to come from where they normally come, for Cisco Routers and Switches. But it happens that a…

Does this other thread help? In particular the second posting from Lnavin? Francois Caron - Sr. Product Manager.
-
Very clear, tks Mark
-
These issues are already identified, adding your input to them (64088 and 51079). Tks for your feedback
-
Tks for posting your requests. I wil contact all of you and sent the template.
-
Definitely a workaround. Will post here anything better coming from dev.

Hi Ciag, I'll ask about the NCM question. If you have NPM, there is also a possibility to create a custom report that highlights # of bytes transmitted by interfaces over a period of time. So by running this over, say, 1 month and sorting it by #of bytes, it should be easier to identify those interfaces that had no traffic…

I agree with this, on Juniper routers (JunOS), which is different than on Juniper ScreenOs (SSg's) On routers, we have a requirement open (63744), to handle the fact that the physical interface has some attributes / metrics and the attached sub-interface (usually 1:1 mapping) has other attributes and metrics. Managing them…

Well, actually there is a simpler way to achieve what you want to do, if you Edit the interface in the Interface Detail page, you have the opportunity to define a Custom Bandwidth for this interface. From that point on, the Util % calculation wil be done based on the value that you entered. New discoveries will not…

Hi Dave, Let me look at this one and see if we have a way to achieve it, or we'll open a requirement. Francois, Senior Product Manager

This might help the filtering of discovery based on If description/alias

This might help as well:

Adding one more vote to an existing enhancement request (22918)

Let's move forward with your proposal, Simon. I'll contact you off line

Hi Byrona, What else do you need beyond the info above: Everything is stored in DB in octets, and: - To get from octets to KB we use 1000 - To get from KB to MB we use 1000 - For all larger convertions we use a factor of 1000

Hi dclark, have you tried referencing custom properties from your script, using this: - Add customer property to NCM and name it let’s say ‘StoreIP’ - Fill-in this property for each node - Reference it from the script as macro: ${StoreIP}

HI Jaybed. The feature request has ben opened as part of your case (107014) At this time we don't have enough traction on this and this feature is already possiblble with NCM. NCM is suitable for small accounts (as well as larges) but has more sophisticated features. I want to make sure that you know that NCM has a free…
