That is a good idea but personally I have over 30 people using Orion with many of them remote. I give access to most everyone in IT (over 200) so a local tool will only help so much. We need Orion to scale for enterprises. I need to have very low refresh for display screens in the executive area, fast refresh in the NOC…

I agree as well. The employees at Solarwinds care about what we the customer want and need. I very rarely see that in a company.

This is the biggest reason why I love Solarwinds as a company.... They listen. Soooooo many ideas are used to generate new versions of the tools. UX team is awesome in the way they listen to your thoughts and ideas and then you see some of that when you perform the upgrade.

"Adding a "Quick Search" to make it faster to, well, do a quick search" is great. Most my users have no clue how to use this, they just want to search like they do for google...

As I write this, I am creating 98 new trap alerts. Each one will write to the event log, then an application in SAM will watch the event log for a 3003, then Orion will kick off an alert that will generate a ticket in Remedy, email the affected groups and display an event on the multiple different dashboards. Not very…

traffic maps would be terrific, netpath is a huge bonus then the SDWan edge (single pane of glass)

What does " option of remote Event Log access" mean? Is this refering to an agentless option to pull the event logs? Hoping and praying for agentless RPC pulls of the event logs.....
