wow... You read my mind, I was talking about this yesterday in a meeting.... This would be extremely helpful....

We use a recycling company that melts most of the metals and sells them in bulk, the plastics and PVC and rubber all get recycled "somehow". Batteries and the like are also recycled via a separate company that deal in batteries and we have to pay for that service. Plus.... there is a giant pile of stuff we are a bit unsure…

I am pulling this data via UNdp, but having it all built in is MUCH more efficient. Reporting is better, alerting easier, etc. When there are many others that need to understand the internals of Orion in your/my company, the simpler the better. Also, that is a big selling point of Orion, Simplicity. It is easy to use and…

This is needed for an enterprise monitoring tool.... simple, easy to read.... Maybe using groups so 300 sites can be grouped by business or division...

The in ability to have the web reports on my dashboards is embarrassing.... To the average user it seems simple, so they judge it harshly.... BTW you scared this cat LOL

I use this event filter resource.... It's on very dashboard we have. http://thwack.solarwinds.com/docs/DOC-62972 I would love to see this as a real resource supported by SW.

My favorite is fairly simple. "The internet is down.... I sent an email to my cousin in Florida and they replied that they know the internet is down. When will you guys fix the internet?" also... A call to the HD late at night.... User: My computer doesn't work at all HD: So you are saying that no applications work on your…

My Mom is not very tech savy, but while I was in college in 1988, she asked me if I needed a computer and bought me a commodore 64 portable. Seeing how much I used it she also helped with a 386sx with 40Mb drives.... totally awesome at the time. Between that and my programming classes that came the next year I am where I…

I TOTALLY agree with Michael_P! Need to show the layer 3 addresses and preferably the associated interface or VLAN.

If a user has the LEM, it would be awesome if UDT (or any module for that matter) to have the ablity to look into the LEM at logs and make determinations. That way we only have one place to send logs and traps... In other words the LEM replaces the builtin syslog and trap engines...

Totally agree!!! #bumpsquad

This is a great upgrade! helps multiple teams save time by having DNS monitoring. The Cisco DHCP monitoring has proved to be invaluable.... We almost spent $39K on an appliance and this does more... Great job guys! Is it possible that we may see manipulation of DNS records in the future?

This is needed.... My idea, , was created for the same reason.... its hard to read!!

I used to use LogLogic and they allowed retention based on "type" of log, such as ASA or router or Routing protocol. This is something that I feel is important because many logs are for troubleshooting only and retention over a week is a waste of space. Loglogic just had a simple page with checkboxes and timeframes that…

If UDT could take the UDT logs, or query the ISE DB that would be perfect, why have UDT doing all this scanning and traps AND ISE doing all its profiling...

Cisco owns almost 70% of the global router market share. I think that's a good reason to support it.

I just installed this on my secondary system. Its only running NPM and SAM. Install was very easy. .NET 4.5 took the longest and the wizard was same as usual. The new UI is terrific! Love the menu system. Lots of new small features that will make our lives MUCH better. So happy to see that yellow notification bar go…

I agree, but I think it shouldn't stop at NCM. The web refresh is a big problem for many of us in many areas of Orion like SAM, NTA, UDT NCM and others when your researching or displaying to others. Vote this up as well:
