Port history, or when this port was last used is very important to our end users at remote locations. They do not have SSH access to the switch. But with this ability they will be able to safely unplug cables that "should" have been removed a long time ago, therefore freeing up ports for use. We are dealing with this now...

we have moved to Meraki SDWAN is great success. Downtime is mostly eliminated and our security posture is greatly enhanced whil providing significant response time decreases for products like O365

How about an alert that can call NCM to reset the err-disable port? That would be a good solution if UDT can let us know when the interface goes into err-disable....

I love the idea of this for troubleshooting and security issues, but where do you store it all? How long does it take to search these logs when looking for something. We have the LEM with about 30 days of logs which equals about 500Gb. I shut down many logs in the ASA to get to the 30days.... For now I have to deal with my…

I have removed the thresholds, it now says <not set> but I still get critical and warning events. I need to remove the events and rely on my alerts only... When you say dedicated, do you mean that the server ONLY runs the NPAS, or that a NIC is dedicated to the NPAS service running on a server that may also be doing other things such as file sharing?

My son and I were discussing this last night. They predict a 12 hour warning before a major storm, but all we can do is start printing every config and start sharpening our pencils.... Yes I agree with you rschroeder this is something we have no control over and could change our lives...
