Agreed, and my understanding/hunch is that Solarwinds is working on this feature.... although I doubt we will see it next week, but I'm confident we will see it soon....

At my company, we are not allowed to do an upgrade or implement a new application monitor until we test in dev. That means that we have to load all the modules as an eval, copy the DB, do the upgrades, etc. etc. Now we have to clean all that up to test the new upgrade since the 30 days have past. My company ended up buying…

This is the area I know least about with the Solarwinds products, so I'm happy to see more training and info sessions on these tools.

This would be terrific. This would be very helpful with troubleshooting systems that do not have an IP or having issues with it. When your geographicly diverse it would be a big help....

This would be great, to have a users resource that we can see who is logged in. The audit trail fails at this because if a user doesn't logout then he is still logged in, so an idle status could be used if there is no activity for a specified time

We have a similar issue with AIX systems and drives. When they do a "refresh" all the drives go into unknown status and we have to delete them and add the 'new' ones.... then we lose all the history for all the volumes and memory

I upgraded my secondary system last night and my whole team is very pleased. The UI is great. New feature are The UX team at Solarwinds is terrific. They are the only company I have worked with (27 years in IT) that puts this much effort and skill into making the customer happy.
