Obviously, but their method to correct it was what I was addressing. They need to take care of their mistakes like this more quickly. A 48 hour turnaround is unacceptable for an erroneous instantaneous shutdown.

Did the Guided Curriculum link (https://support.solarwinds.com/guided-curriculum) take you to the Guided Curriculum where you saw the Guided Curriculum? So did you find your answer?
-
I think you have until Sunday to answer them. The new week starts on Monday.

Came to say MFA all the way. That is your best defense.

B is correct, but C is not. No wait, C is correct and B is not. No wait... I had an argument with SolarWinds support. They claimed that we had AWS, and I told them that we did not. We went back and forth for a while until I realized they did not mean Amazon Web Services.
-
Since the week is over anyway, the answer is right in the link. As you click on each selection at the top, it is in the title of each of them. My brain keeps telling me Guided Meditation, but it is not that. It is close.

I did the upgrade and started moving my maps from Atlas to Orion Maps. The maps look nice. Then I tried to turn them over to the application developer to tweak what he wanted, and the maps are not visible to him. Evidently, nobody but me will have rights to do anything to those maps that I created, including see that they…

Do you have a hint for some of us who do not have D&D people to ask?

Whatever happened to Observability? The milkman, the paperboy, evening tv? Everywhere you look, everywhere you go There's a heart (There's a heart), a hand to hold onto. Everywhere you look, everywhere you go There's a place, of Somebody who needs you Everywhere you look.

Exactly! Sad but true. For the most part, the companies do not have any incentive to refund anyone's money in any hurry.
-
Exactly! We try to help each other, but that person is trying to sabotage everyone. No bueno!
-
I think it was changed, because it refers to the document in your link now. Thanks for sharing.

Well just slap your forehead and say, "D;oh!". It is a move I use a lot. I hope you have a great Friday!

What I found the most helpful was to get into an Alert Definition, go to Trigger Actions, and scroll to the bottom. I was still confused until I realized the boxes meant Choose All That Apply.
-
That leads to the wrong answer. Thanks a lot for a big red X.

Schrödinger's question.

Thanks, yumdarling. I understand now.

@"smttysmth02gt"I 100% agree. The questions used to be about the products, and we learned something about them. Even if we were never going to use them, we knew some things they would do. Now, not so much. I wanted to see that green checkmark yesterday too, but it did not happen. Now I will see a red X for the rest of the…

I did not get any points today either.

You should have it now. Please check your messages.

Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! Thanks for all the wonderful work you do!

@"KMSigma.SWI" That's what I thought. Thank you. You got me excited about the upgrade in some of your posts and your videos. I am scheduling the upgrade shortly, slowed, of course, by our change management process.
-
Awesome, kpina! Thanks!!

I saw a guy give a presentation on security where he said that they don't patch in their environment because it is so disruptive to their students (he is the CISO at a university). We were all appalled at that statement, as we schedule our lives around our patching activities. The other half of the presentation was another…

All the words were there and in the right order. I think you were looking at the other one that was similar instead of the one that was exact.

This may not be the right forum, but I think more people are reading things here right now. @"KMSigma.SWI" You talked me into doing the upgrade, and I did it last night. I found that the upgrade instructions are serious about applying the Windows patches before you start. I also found that you need to make sure your…
