Just a follow-up: I did upgrade, but I don't think that fixed it. Rather, I deleted the alert and added it back. Then, it worked as planned.

Do you know how I can then put the Event ID and its description into an Alert message? I can't find it with "Insert Variable", but do you know, maybe, the SQL command to pull it? Thanks.

There's only one Orion node which connects to an external SQL database. Your SQL query was run on the database server, of course. Thank you, Petr. I tried this fix and got 0 rows affected, but I still get the same result in alerts. Do you have any other suggestions? If not, I'll open a TAC case with Solarwinds. Thank you in advance.
