The thing that struck me about your upgrade was that you called support and got a Tech on the line within 30 minutes. I had an issue during our upgrade, waited on hold for an hour and got bumped to voicemail. I got a call back about 6 hours later.

The release notes cover the changes in Hotfix 2. I will add though, that we upgraded from 2020.2.1 Hotfix 1 to Hotfix 2 yesterday and the web console is faster than it's ever been. It was immediately noticeable.

Yes, I opened a case with support and this was the resolution they provided.
-
This was broken in 2020.2. I opened a case on this issue and SolarWinds confirmed it. I assumed it would be fixed in the 2020.2.1 build, but I didn't see it mentioned in the readme.
-
Looks like this was resolved in 2020.2.1

Thanks. I wanted to confirm that others could reproduce the issue before opening a case. I will do that based on your confirmation.

Does uninstalling IPAM retain the configuration? I don't care about the data that can be retrieved again through a subnet scan, but would I have to re-enter all of my subnet ranges again?
-
I'll have to step through the install again to have any diagnostics to share. I was thinking of upgrading .NET Framework from 4.51. to 4.62 prior to performing the platform upgrade to eliminate that as a possible upgrade issue. From what I've read 4.62 should be compatible with my current versions. Do you think that would…

Yes, the comments custom property still exists. I don't know which report has a reference to this column. I guess i'll have to look at each one of them.
-
Not sure if you've already performed the upgrade. One thing I found that I didn't see documented is that there is a requirement of Powershell v5 otherwise some of the upgrade scripts will fail.

We are currently running IPAM version 4.7 under Orion Platform 2018.2. I am aware that Orion Platform 2020.2 supports Server 2012R2, but I found when looking at the system requirements for our other modules that IPAM 2020.2 listed support for only Server 2016 and 2019. Now this is where I know I will look foolish. I…

Assuming you're missing the same column, this is what worked: 1) Make sure you first Backup the Database before performing the following. 2) Next, run the following SQL query against the Orion database using the MS SQL management studio. Alter Table ReportDefinitions Add Comments Varchar(255) 3) Launch the Legacy Report…

I was not attempting to hit the URL in a browser from the Orion server, but from my workstation. I will try that.

I don't see it listed in the System Requirements, but figured I'd ask; is SQL Server 2014 SP2 supported by Patch Manager 2.1.x?
-
I take the lack of response to mean that nobody is willing to test this on their 2020.2 systems?

Is this site being updated? No updates since 6/28/16. Looking for Mozilla Firefox 47.0.1 Thanks.

I'm still not pulling down FireFox 66.0.5, which shows was published 7 days ago. Hello Solarwinds? Anyone?
-
I see Mozilla Firefox 66.0.5 listed, but I'm not getting it when I synch. Was it pulled or?
-
Google Chrome 69.0.3497.81 ??
-
Synchronizing gives me the latest Chrome package, but I'm not seeing Firefox 61.0.2. This is getting to be a nuisance.
-
Not seeing Google Chrome 68.0.3440.75 after Synchronizing. Most recent I have is Google Chrome 67.0.3396.99. Anyone else seeing this?
-
Not seeing Google Chrome 67.0.3396.99 available after a synchronization.
-
Yes, seeing the exact same message.

Attempted the upgrade last night. Windows Server 2012R2 Primary and APE SQL Server 2016 SP1 Upgrade Path: IPAM 4.3.2 > 4.7 NTA 4.2.1 > 4.4 NPM 12.0.1 > 12.3.0 SAM 6.3.0 > 6.6.1 The installer installed .NET 4.6, prompted for a reboot, and continued installation after the reboot. Ultimately the upgrade failed due to errors…

First thing to do is find the machines with Quicktime installed. You'll need to run an inventory of your computers and gather information about installed applications. You can do this two ways; Deploy the WMI Providers, or enable WSUS Extended Inventory. If you're going to want to uninstall QuickTime, go with the WMI…
