@"Sudhakar.Ramakrishna" and @"bob3" - Same boat.. we are looking at alternatives now. Multi solution so if something like this happens again, we can easily pivot to the other solution and continue to monitor the environment. Shutting down monitoring for a week is not a good place to be. 

I hope so..I think all your settings/menus/alerting and all that is in the db so bringing up a new poller/app server should be a straightforward process. My concern is how to remove the old instances but i am sure that should be fairly easy. 

this is the route we are leaning with. deploy new and leave the old ones off. Are you doing anything in particular with the DB server? thx

Hi... yes i was able to figure out that i needed to edit the properties on those nodes and change the polling engine. 

Our environment is internal only but our app servers to do have access to the internet. We have them powered down with version 2020.2 installed.
