Thanks for the info. Yes, I am poling the host/cluster nodes directly also.
-
No. The problem is that I am unable to take any screenshots from the system that the has orion or access to its web page.
-
I think I have a better understanding now. For some reason not all the nodes are being added to Orion automatically. Is there a common reason for this?
-
Thanks for the help. I think it may be a permissions issue. Is there a fact sheet that I can check my system against?
-
I agree. If there was something similar to the network sonar discovery for VMAN. A utility that would let me know what VMs I have added and what I have yet to add. The way it is setup now is I have to hunt through each node and verify if it is setup correctly.
-
Is there a way to get the node to show in error?
-
So the best thing to do would be to delete the current node? Then re add it through VMAN?
-
Unfortunately no. Items cannot be exported from the machine. Tech support asked me the same thing, they have yet to come back with an answer.
-
Is the VM a Windows client? Are you able to query AD and get the info you need?
-
Thanks for the reply. I did open a support case however, I can't take to logs off of this system.
-
I can now set the custom thresholds for my printer. However when I take all the paper out of it the dial shows up as empty but the Node still stays green and up. Am I looking at this the wrong way?
-
If it was any closer it would have bit me.

I was actually able to find the data using a separate PowerShell module. Script Find user logon duration (PowerShell) . Thank you for the help though.

Ok. That is what I thought. I went to go install crystal report that I got from the solarwinds page. But never saw a program to start. Only the solarwinds lem reporting tool. Am I missing something?
-
Yes they are still in the datastore. I can browse the datastore via VShpere and see that they are in fact there. I even manually deleted one of them and did a manual update a VMAN and saw that they were no longer in the Sprawl page.
-
I have a correction to make. The parts in RED never show up. They say that I must configure the VMAN console.
-
YES! That is exactly the one I get.
-
The IPs do match on the systems. I am unable to bring a phone into the lab environment.
-
No it does not. That was the first thing that I had tried. Thanks.
-
I am able to see the event viewer complaining about the Windows CRT binary. Stating that "it is not signed and can be a security risk".
-
If you log into the VMAN console and select setup and navigate to the Credentials menu you should be able to add as many as you need.
-
http://knowledgebase.solarwinds.com/kb/questions/6100/Disabling+HTTPS+for+an+NPM+and+VMAN+Integration This will get you in the right spot.
-
If you log into the VMAN console do you see the collector jobs completing correctly?
-
When you refer to a "guest" do you mean client, account, or virtual machine?
-
So I tried to first just up the resources to 32GB of RAM but had no luck. So i Just deiced to schedule the report to run the report on Saturday morning of the current week. Thanks for the help.

Were these machines that you had in your environment at one time, and recently removed?
