I don't know what the problem is. Solarwinds customers have been asking for better Fortinet device support for many years...still we wait.

CTRL+SHIFT+I opened this in Edge...where is the refresh icon?

01816370 I don't look after the Orion application, that is another team. They like N-1 for applications, barring any security issues. I expect the next upgrade will happen soon.

I am still experiencing the same issue with 2024.4.0...the support ticket was not helpful at all, with the tech telling me I need to use map option on the left instead of the widget. The fact that this worked for a long time, is a documented bug, and is a discussion in this forum is lost on him.

Thank you. We are running 2024.2.0. I don't seem to have the option you describe, but you did say "if not that version" so that could explain that. I did open a support ticket but that is proving to be a little frustrating...should have started with these forums.

Any news on this? I have 2022.4.1 and have the same problem attempting to log onto a Fortinet switch.

Like this? ...

I just discovered that I can no longer edit an imported poller once I have assigned it. Perhaps that is the answer. Hmm...now how do I unassign the poller?

Thanks but...perhaps I am missing something here. I already stated I do not have access to server consoles. Is Trap Viewer in the Orion GUI?

Here I am in November 2020 using 2020.2.1 and my Fortigate 1500D is identified as a wireless controller. The value for sysObjectID (1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2) is "1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.1.15000" ... which does not exist in the mibs database. In creating a custom poller, I manually specified both vendor and machine type (I see…

I didn't put those big subnets in there, although I am familiar with where they are. I did once add a smaller 10.x.x.0/24 subnet in there, but I left 10.0.0.0/8 too and...if memory serves...my change didn't take. If I take 10.0.0.0/8 out, I have to replace it with a LOT of subnets, as every one of our ~300 remote sites…

No...the IP groups are 10.0.0.0/8, 192.168.0.0/16 ... Each site has its own NPM group though.

the N.Details link is not working. Do you have an updated link?

At the WAN sites, all non-local traffic is directed to the head-end routers and to the 6500. This includes internet traffic. All internet traffic goes through another 6500 interface. Being almost exclusively 2960 (layer 2) switches, I don’t think I can enable Netflow at the remote switches. I do monitor all switches in…

I have the same problem. I would like to allow (through our firewall) the Orion server to reach Thwack community pollers...but I don't know what to allow. I am guessing traffic is HTTPS, but what are the URLs?

I get an error: You cannot import a UnDP poller into Device Studio

Thanks Marc. That makes sense!
