Roman you have to sign up for the beta of SAM 6.3 above by clicking on the red button first to get access to the beta and the forum for it. This is only for people under maintenance and since you are you'll be good to go.

I also agree with @"Radioteacher" Spinal Tap wasn't exactly fake.

Nothing like a bugged Cisco IOS memory problem or leak! Ugh i've had a few of those... some were very slow too!
-
Well at least it looks like today's question isn't causing too much grief. My advice to people from yesterday... don't assume the answers are in a particular order. I almost got caught too.

Lol don't get me started on TicketMaster... geesh by the time tickets are available the price is ridiculous now... I thought 700$ for Roger Waters floor seats was bad a few years ago when he brought The Wall tour back... well I heard a few days ago that tickets for floor are now over 1000$ for many headline shows.

I have a question no one has asked I don't think... I see what the agent can do with DPI, and extending SAM wmi monitoring out... but could the agent also do icmp??? I do have servers inside some of these restricted areas... my main poller can get to some of them now doing status polling with snmp (icmp isn't allowed…

Thank goodness today's is more straight forward than that question 17. I'm glad I did it after Christmas because I would have maybe just given up and guessed.
-
Yes I'd be glad to discuss the challenges we all are facing now. With DISA and DSS now requiring all new and all renewed certification of information systems requiring going through the RMF process new tools are needed. The old classic NISPOM certification is being retired basically. Since the ultimate goal of RMF is a…

Hey it works... so... green check for today 2/28 I had to come back and catch up a little today... been slacking the past couple days... I got way into nixi clock stuff recently. I'm building two of these with cases will look like this: Here's the actual NOS IN-18 tubes I'm getting sent from Ukraine I'm totally out of…

Day 2 was really bad.

For what it's worth I've found FF and chrome render these huge pages of charts better than IE. I have built some that are so large that Orion times out or gives up when rendered with IE.
-
Some of these kinds of problems are the hardest to troubleshoot even with good tools like Orion.

I'm sure AWS is happy about this...
-
It seems this next year is going to be the year of 802.1x port security and Cisco ISE with NPE PKI certificates on everything! Full on Cisco SD networking. I wish there was a better drone manufacturer in the USA besides military ones.

That's a log of Mac and Cheese lol!

Amazon ironically poached a girlfriend of mine from Time Warner... she had to interview like 4 or 5 times with various people and now works two levels down from one their main VP's. She seems to really like it at Amazon and she does most all of her work from home!

They have been telling us that our CaC and other network tokens will possibly be replaced by something else... not sure what it's going to be for sure yet though. I'm not really sure what the CIO thinks the answer is??? CaC cards have been great for securing DoD networks. We're still working on getting many new ACAS and…

Seems like you may be buying new pants pretty soon!

That's why I don't put all devices at a "site" I put the WAN device or interface at the site. If I put all the devices at a site I'd have 1000 things on top of each other :^}

Oh and we monitor just about everything with NPM, NTA, SAM, SRM, VMAN, and now SEM is going into many areas to cover all the new audit requirements for CUI.
-
lololol! That's hillarious!
-
Staying in the Hotel between days was a good idea Danielle... you were right.
-
Makes sense to me...
-
The thwack store tells me how many of things I own. The backpack is a special case because after you buy it... it does disappear from the store but it's the only item that does this I think... maybe the shoulder bag does too but I've never gotten one of those.
-
Not sure I understand why?
-
I went without SAM or APM for a long time... I was missing out on a lot. Now with appstack it's even more important! With NPM & SAM you can cover 85% of the app stack. If it's a web app WPM fills in the detail and SRM will help to see if it's all the storage causing your problems.

It nice that some members are helping this year too.
