I had to dig for the answers to today's question. Everything was under links on the page.

Do hospitals have to backup client workstations? We don't backup clients per se although their profiles and home directories reside on NAS that are backed up.

I'm glad there's some support for AWS now in Orion.

I'm still working at work every day... it's considered "essential" services. One neat thing though... I've recently added a few atomic clocks to my collection of electronics to count the nanoseconds until this whole ordeal is over! I can't wait until this ordeal is over... we just want the rest of the country to get back…

From my experience storage having problems can be a HUGE headache. Once storage has problem the datastores do, then the VM's start having problems. It can quickly spiral out of control!
-
It's not simple that's for sure.

And next vxlan, NSX, and openstack are going to throw huge big new wrench in the gears!!! Who's responsible for what is changing... the old storage team and network team and security team are all having the water muddied by virtualization of everything!

Isn't that picture the truth!

I'm engrossed in security related IT functions a LOT myself these days. It's not all bad... some is tedius.. patching and updates comes to mind... but it's fun.

Do what @adam.davis says above on your phone and goto 17:40 in the video... even on a small screen you can't miss that!!!

I'm not sure I get all this "cloud" stuff... isn't it really nothing new and just another network that you don't own?

I used to love going to Sears with my dad on Saturdays when I was little. Craftsman tools were always great as well.
-
Seems to ring a bell with upgrade NPM from 11.5.x to 12.2 if I'm not mistaken lol! That wasn't an easy upgrade... it required swapping out the SQL Server as well o.O!
-
We're here just waiting for the next edition of actuator! Tom must be banging away right now!
-
Everything is about insider threat now on DoD networks... we can thank a couple bad actors for ruining it for everyone else! You know who they are!

I'm still catching up but this was a nice laid out article and I'm very suspicious of lots of these and we have all the same teams.
