Made me think of this...

I can argue two answers...
-
Awe I can see how that could happen after reading the first part of the question...

I couldn't have said it better myself! My open enrollment ends today and just like you my choices have gone down and the price has gone up! We lost our PPO year before last so all of the plans are now listed as "high deductible" and the deductible keeps going up... the max out of pocket too! Some people don't remember what…

Some of those plug and play usb floppies are handy for this purpose.

I really like the new HTML5 dashboards in SEM you did the video about @"KMSigma.SWI" ! There are some new ones I really like especially the new KPI Widget that I have configured to show me the Oldest stored even occurred X days ago, Logs/Data used storage percentage, and Logs/Data used storage. Works great to see how my…

You're right @"sqlrockstar" this may finally be the year of linux! It's just a few years later than originally forecast. We initially did most cloud on AWS but it's looking more and more like our type of business actually fits better with Azure in a BIG way. A lot of this has to do with the type and security requirements…

Once we let the VM's start creating their own VM's we may be in trouble. This could be step right before "skynet" becomes operational! The singularity is upon us! Deep learning and AI uh oh!

This was the BEST sessions on thwackcamp I think. Threat Detectives was AWESOME along with the moving mouth on Kevin @"KMSigma.SWI" kid photo face! These two where highlights I think of this years thwackcamp 2020! SQL the beard guy was great as well ie. Thomas LaRock. Another great thing was seeing pHubb…

I can't connect to the cloud today anyhow so more concerned with on prem.

WMI was never a great protocol to begin with. It sounds like it still needs WMI anyhow though?
-
NTM can do this I think... I still don't get why that ever became a thing... it should have been part of the new NPM mapping updates.

kpina and mark.gover are correct!
-
It was long alright... it took 44 hours to complete the upgrades. It took 11 hours alone to copy the netflow data from old to new noSQL server.
-
Seems like a good idea to me!
-
Great group of people there... especially Leon, Patrick, and Thomas only because I've known you guys for years and seen you at many SWUG's in Phoenix and elsewhere! Bill

I've done some artish design... such as having cable trays above suspended from the ceiling and mounting patch panels on the side... using different colored cables for different networks that are color coded to the patch panel ports. That's kinda artsy! Everything was from above to closest patch panel... power, networks,…

I was just excited I finally won something :^}

And in Orion reports can be on your dashboards!!!

I just had two NetApp filers fill up... I wish for once they would buy enough storage to last more than a year or two.
-
As long as IBM get's all their software dev tools like clearcase/clearquest etc. running well on redhat finally it could be good in some ways... we'll see. This would mean I can finally bury Oracle and Solaris (I used to love SUN while I was in school but post that Oracle ruined it) for good.

I like trying the food wherever I got too Thomas.

Lol... for some reason this cracked me up!!! Sometimes I hate some sequences of both f/w rules and/or ACL's.
-
The current version 2019.4 has been working great and we love the HTML5 updates. I can't wait until the new reporting in HTML5 eventually comes out!!! From what I've seen it's going to be great and everyone will love it. It'll be great to put Crystal Reports out to pasture once and for all!!!

I'm totally stumped right now unless dmartzall is correct? He may be. Edit: I posted then bleggett followed up... I can confirm this now! Green check.

My advice if you are Federal... get your CISSP cert. They love it! I've been working on some government networks that require minimum of security + but they much more highly prize the CISSP cert. I just got my recert after first 3 years. It is a lot of work even after you get it but it pays off dividends.

Gotta go with Toto!
