Nice easy way to try our LEM on virtual network!

I think Sears sold the Craftsman tool business to Black and Decker.

Lol that's pretty funny but also not Rick!

I'm just glad we've got people like you that are really good at this DBA thing! So I don't have to! Well not too often at least... I've been the accidental DBA more time than I'd like to count.

It's nice seeing the flash go...

I completely agree... we're trying to move away from VMware and ProxMox is the closest thing to it and it's open source. With the Ceph filesystem it's pretty bad ass setup!
-
I love all the vCloud orchestration stuff from VMware. Now with NSX as well it's taking automation and security to a whole new level with the entire suite rolled out.

You gotta take the info from both page 3 and page 5 to get today's answer. Remember SolarWinds try's to support as many features as possible. If you check the boxes as you go from 3 to 5 you'll get it right.

I also agree with your suggestions. The biggest thing I learned is the first part about being responsive... I've found that you don't have to have all the answers... but you better be letting the customer know you are working their problem and trying to help. If you miss that or pretend that the problem will go away it's a…

It did and I agree with your comment... also the newest standard for this is called RMF. I'm kinda surprised this was left off as everyone in the DoD in the US is now going to be using this.

It's basically a motorcycle with three wheels... I'll be interested in seeing those crash test results though. Elio Motors: The Single-Doored, 84-mpg 3-Wheeler That Could? – News – Car and Driver | Car and Driver Blog

I'm not and even the people that are aren't sure off the top of their head... they said if that's the case we should only buy 4+ TB disks lololol!

Yeah the padlock means nothing... using open source tools (SET comes to mind) you can clone any bank website or even ebay and then set it up to run on a bogus server in some cloud somewhere that's been compromised. Then with a little social engineering or DNS poisoning send users to your site instead of the real one for…

Got through another funday Monday yesterday... seems little better today. The question made sense.

GPO's, STIG's, CIS Security Benchmarks all can help with consistency in configuration. There are some new tools like SteelCloud that also help with configuration and maintaining a security baseline: https://www.steelcloud.com/ Now if I could just have NCM for network configs and steelcloud for windows and linux compliance…

I'm in the same boat... they'd never allow much of the Military Industrial Complex to use something like this. Israel is a great ally of the USA but they'd never allow us using anything like this without it being totally restricted off in an enclave which pretty much rules it out for any usefulness for many of us. I think…

Yeah the people that make malware in a flu virus update page have a special place in hell reserved for them!

Nice little template chad.every!

And use pki, crypto, and keep your CAC card handy!

The perception is reality is part of what really bothers me about the media these days and their "anonymous sources!"

I love my Raspberry Pi 2 from previous challenge! That PI3 has built in wifi and a faster cpu as well!

The keylogger things is bad news for HP... poor programming at it's finest! I'm totally excited about more SQL Server for linux and a cross platform set of management tools! (Stick it to Oracle as good as you can MS!)

A couple of the questions were a little tough to find the answer for some reason (number 7) but overall the amount of work that is going into managing this mission has to be monumental so I'm giving it an excellent exceptional rating! Danielle is really earning her keep on this one ;^}

I had to go slow on the first one... took a little while to figure it out.

Ricky really knows how to write a lot!

Of course nodes is our favorite!

Yep if you continue to watch the video there's another pair of correct answers. So yeah it's two sets of two.

Thanks I really appreciate that... I think we are close to finally making the upgrade as I think most all of the things people ran into have been addressed. Also alterego made me think that the old alert win32 application is actually still there even though the alerts are moved to the web so I suppose I could still run…

I think the whole "cloud" thing is dumb personally.
