We don't allow ICMP across any firewall boundaries. ICMP can be used as a covert channel. It's also a HUGE reason I'm so glad SolarWinds added snmp status vs. ICMP as an option!

It's tough managing the vCPU and memory for some applications that are virtualized. SQL Server especially because it'll use up any memory you give it... Giving too much vCPU or memory can really cause problems too!
