seems like a no brainer and one of the same problems I have with GFI EventsManger. The noise generated inside the windows directories is insane.

Dang I did apple pascal too!!! It was two 5 1/4 floppies to run it I remember! That pascal and having that computer is probably why I ended up a computer scientist I suppose. I thought I wanted to be a Ceramic Engineer at first but the level of physics and math was just not my thing... It was a whole new level beyond…

While the internet provides everyone the ability to access data at any time and for any need, it does not guarantee that the data is valid. LOL this made me think of wikipedia sqlrockstar

It's rough some days... it's even rough some days getting to sleep too if there's a LOT going on or you're in some place/hotel/city that's not the greatest.

I did the same thing for the CISSP Eric. I did some free lunch and learns about the different bodies of knowledge... then skipped the 3000$ bootcamp most goto and just took the test. I put together some about 20 pages of typed up cram sheets I collected from scouring the internet. I've now shared my cram sheets with a few…

You could also find this out by a link from the original hint page as well... take your time today people one answer is kinda misleading and can suck you right in if you don't take your time today! For some reason the moderated thing turned on again...

I'll have to say number one on the list is definitely number 1!!! The more we can do to automate compliance and automate remediation the better. Then we need to monitor to make sure the baseline doesn't deviate.

I'm a little concerned too about the idea of lie detector AI. I'm not sure that's a great idea but I suppose pattern matching by neural net is probably close to as good as human running the machine.

I suppose event correlation is where the rubber meets the road.

If it's any consolation they are starting to use HTML5 in LEM. It's only partway HTML5 but they are doing it on that module and it looks a like like newer Orion UX.

That Dalio guy has parlayed his hedge fund success into almost an entire line of consulting services and even a book.

With the recent problems with Oracle now wanting you to license your Oracle database with every core in your virtualization infrastructure it could possibly run on. When you have 100's of cores in it it's a total disaster! We're going to make small virtual environment just for Oracle to get around the problem but it's just…

I thought APM was the old name for SAM... I use SAM. It works pretty darn well and even if there isn't already a template made you can either make one yourself or ask aLTeReGo! Seriously that was just props for alterego... he's done a great job with SAM. Bronx too btw. User profiling from all of your remote sites is kinda…
