The online courseware available for some parents to use with home schooling seems like an option for many kids that are surrounded by bad schools.

Ok todays question has 3 answers that are black an white... and one that's pretty dang gray ugh! I haven't pulled the trigger yet but it appears there's a lone outlier in the multiple choice today?

Use the force! This guy has more stuff than wluther I think lololol!!! That's some serious Star Wars stuff right there! Ugh I'm seeing currently being moderated on this thread now... I don't know why thwack does that sometimes??? It didn't do it for the last three weeks so what's up with that? This isn't a good thread to…

Sounds like a fun trip... especially going to Europe... the location is coincidentally a little off due to recent events but otherwise sounds good.

I've been getting into NIXIE tubes lately... wish I could find some of these CD47 Rodan tubes (it's the big one) but they're like impossible to find and if you do they are priceless: Those are Japanese but the Germans made some really nice smaller ones as well.

Reducing some of the red lights is a big part of my plan right now... too much information is a problem.

That cocktail making machine looks pretty crazy this week!

Considering this was the first time they made the NMS/Netflow chart I'd say they already are further to the right but I'm sure Garter is wide but not very deep on the actual testing so it's not surprising the first time on this chart they are way up there as a first strike on the other vendors... it says a lot actually.

Me too still... really frustrating. I've spent way too much time on number 7.

I was in the same boat for a long time... SAM is really good. I'm adding SRM next. I'd get SAM before anything else as it along with NPM is really powerful.

This in Government and Defense is pretty much mandatory because few others understand what you are going through with security and the requirements. Many people talk security but when you are audited on whether all of your infrastructure is current with the STIGs... you'll know security in a whole new way you never saw…

I'm all too familiar with 8570. Now I have a whole list of training I have to do for my company as a requirement and for customers as well so there is a LOT of overlap or very similar training I have to do for both and every year as well. The one good thing for me is this easily covers my CISSP CPE's each year! That's the…

That would have worn me out for sure! The venue looked pretty nice. Also is it NOT only HOT but also HUMID there? It looks like you ate well at least while you were there! I am a fan of some of the kinds of food from there.

Here we go again!

I guess that's part of the reason SAM is good since it does some of this.

Watch it today Tuesday 10/25 I could have gotten caught on some tricks! Luckily I looked closely. Bill

We use OpsNet for this... and man let me tell you... it's a LOT of data o.O to have anytime deep packet inspection capability after the fact anytime anywhere.
-
So today the question is... is it supposed to be exact spelling or are substitutes correct as well? Is a datastore and a data server the same thing?

Reminds me of our last bracket battle!

DNA viruses sounds like a terrible idea... with the new DNA encoding method CRISPR it makes it even scarier: Researchers used CRISPR to encode a movie into DNA | Popular Science With CRISPR scientists can basically rewrite any gene sequence they want to now. Talk about Pandora box.

Shirt just came yesterday and it's SWEET!

Seems like a good idea count me in!

I'm glad there has been a focus on this. It seems SolarWinds grew faster than it was ready to handle with so many acquisitions and trying to figure out how to do SaaS and regular Orion has been a challenge I'm sure with many products overlapping with each other. I can imagine trying to sort out the support staff to support…

Yeah the second question wasn't from 20:00 - 21:00 beware.

The hard part is trusting the systems... I know we're trying to get more Federal approved ways to do this. Many of my networks will never run on the public "cloud" but we do have some non classified workloads which may be suitable for running in Fed certified public cloud.

I 100% agree sqlrockstar quantum is way way way more important right now than any blockchain tech... Quantum cryptography will change the way we secure our networks in an order of magnitude way. The chinese have already put a quantum test node on orbit. China Shatters "Spooky Action at a Distance" Record, Preps for…

That explains a LOT!
