We all probably have some of these hard to monitor or one off devices. They can be a real pain to deal with for sure.

Don't overthink today's question. The three options are in the big boxes at the top of the hint page. Don't get too bogged down in the exact phrasing.
-
I'm a little confused about today's question? The way I see it there's only two possible answers. If you pull the show pulldown down and select Exchange: Application there are 2 yet on the map there are 3 circles that hovered over say Exchange Application. What's the deal with that?

was able to submit though :^}

I've watched it a few times and still haven't figured it out...

Don't always have the time... sometimes unless the problem is bad enough no one can stop what they're doing long enough to do that team effort.
-
yeah... that fear of that one question with 2 answers too alike o.O! So far so good today though!!! The alienware laptop, DLP projector, and all of the prizes are really legit! Thanks Danielle!

I'm better at this than the easter egg thing...

I like the desert because it's warm and dry! I've really taken to it after growing up in southern Ohio. I sure don't miss that 90F and 90% humidity o.O that was the worst! The freezing rain and ice before the snow wasn't too great either.

All registered for the 3rd Phoenix SWUG!!! Can't wait the last ones were some of the biggest SWUG's ever! Bill

No problem I knew everyone would like the additional information... and the branding is very subtle and fits in perfectly with the beats branding. It's an AWESOME prize and I'll have to say it's sooooooo much better than that game table. (I don't know where I would have put it and people on Amazon said it was difficult to…

Me too Jfrazier I installed the RC in a VM enclave but you can't really test a whole lot that way...
-
Thanks that helped.

Whew let's see if I can make it through a month without getting one wrong for some dumb reason! I usually try and leave the database stuff to the DBA's normally although like sqlrockstar says sometimes you just end up being one anyway! I try to stick to f/w, switches, routers, and full gamut of client/server operating…

Today's mission challenge question is all about RMF. I was really happy to see your presentation during ThwackCamp this year paul.parker! It's a big deal for all of us that work on DoD networks in the USA. In the last few years SolarWinds has done a lot to secure the platform. Thanks to people like tdanner we've got a…

We don't tolerate any shadow IT! Although true it still doesn't stop some people from trying stuff.

Pretty much... or they're married to the idea of using some "other" tool.

Looks like a pretty nice place for the SWUG too Kevin. I know about driving a manual in England... you'd think they'd give a rental that's an automatic. When I got the manual it was 20 years ago o.O! OMG have I really been doing this stuff that long?

I love Krebs On Security! It's an awesome site and I love some of the work they've done.

For some reason todays question Wednesday 10/7 keeps letting me go back to again... the others usually say you've aready completed this question? Anyhow I definately completed it. Maybe this is normal now... idk? Day one and day two say "You have already completed this survey." uuuuuu uuuuuu! Does this mean I can get…

Ignore the huge spike and it's there.

We did come up with a powershell script to create user accounts, their email account, and some group membership. Truthfully the workspace team (end user support) still mostly don't use the script and instead still do it manually.

I agree about the nice to be able to paste a URL into a ticket or email for sure!

The whole blockchain thing feels like a solution that's still looking for a problem. Also Bitcoin by itself is extremely inefficient as it requires so much power and cooling to mine coins. Also Thomas is right! The first question IT folks should be asking about everything is "how secure is it?"

I've had to deal with some of those... it's so old no one knows how it works anymore or we don't have the source code and it was developed by a company no longer in business. I even had one app, while working at General Electric years ago, where we had the installer but no source code and it was written during the times of…

Me too Jeremy... I felt like the letter codes were upside down to me in my mind and a couple errors but I had to flip my thinking to follow this one.

I'm impressed superfly... hard to do this month.
