The MVP bag for traveling is really neat this year! I love it! Hopefully we'll be able to have in person gatherings again sometime soon! I love the SWUG's and would like to come to Austin sometime for ThwackCamp as well. Bill

The LockMart reference was pretty neat... although most US defense contractors all have a system like this.

We have some of both ASA-X and Palo Alto... also the newer Cisco routers can run the same IPDS module in -X ASA's inside the routers which we are doing at each WAN router all reporting to firesite.

I like this but it's much more easier said than done. It basically like saying rewrite the whole thing. I suppose a completely new development project side by side would have to start for something like this to happen?

Event correlation is more an art form than science I've come to understand... also dependencies and groups have really helped NPM in this respect for sure! It sure is nice is nice to not get 50 alerts when one of your WAN routers goes down!

I'm really glad it's moving forward cobrien since it's supported we may be ready soon. I was a little concerned to I have to copy all of my old report writer reports over for them to still work manually? I'm not sure if I read that right?

Sounds like that ICE Trucker reality show that was on! It was mainly the roads up in Alaska I think during the worst part of the winter when the trucks drive across frozen lakes and such.

I've been fighting with some of the schema changes, patches, security updates, and new GPO's needed for SCCM. We run hardened systems and things are locked down pretty tight.
