A lot of this is common sense I think. Perhaps some people lose site of the goal sometimes and get wrapped up in stuff that doesn't really help to meet the objective???

Thanks asheppard970 I'm OOP in Colorado this week so this really helped me...
-
Kinda cool prize this 3rd week... I looked at some of the other stuff they make too... I guess I'm old school enough that I'm a little behind on all the new streaming gadgets.

Using Taclane's on every circuit, port security, and proper usage and monitoring of ACAS and HBSS sure helps a lot too!

The newer Cisco -X ASA firewalls which have IPDS built in can report back to Cisco Firesight and act on current events by doing things such as blocking traffic even silently dropping and reporting on the traffic. It can shut down ports systems are on that are sources of nefarious traffic. It's a little bit of an art to…

Also I suppose if this application or site is that important then you would have more than one provider bringing in connectivity too... it all comes down to what you're willing to "accept" and "pay."

The custom browsers yeah but chrome rocks... I use it on android all the time in nougat!

I don't know about you all but with all these people "working from home" I've been busier than ever at the office! I can't wait for everyone to come back to work. I'm afraid, though, that some people really don't want to go back to work!

Too many secrets!

Perhaps just a web chatbox would suffice? If it was IRC then only certain people could use or I suppose there's a way to have one do both perhaps?

Lol American football...hehe!

Security is the one thing that's not going away anytime soon. Like you said... patches.

A lot of people don't want to admit it but the research on autonomous cars is really a prelude to new forms of warfare... I know I know some people don't want to admit that but it's a fact.

Nice garden there sqlrockstar Thomas! I love gardening although it's much different for me now after moving from the midwest to the desert of Arizona. When in the midwest I was a member of the American Hemerocallis Society and bread many of my varietals. American Daylily Society Desert gardening is much different but it's…

That's a good one for sure!

I put poor performance but our team and devs are actually pretty good. There's always opportunity to make performance better though!!!

Yeah I'm not a DBA but the DPA product measuring wait time seems like a good way to find where the issues are pretty easily.
