That Ruth Chris steak dinner looks legit!

Exciting stuff... how you can generate the heat maps is o.O! The capacity management is something we were trying to do on our own with just standard reporting system. We are very excited about web based alerting as it will allow one of the biggest outstanding configuration hassles to go away... no longer will we have to…

Not breaking things in the main production environment are pretty high up on the list for sure! It's great if you actually have a decent dev environment... unfortunately that's not always the case. The alternative is rather than running something on everything find a way to start small a limit the damage in case things do…

That's a bad cabling job for sure! I'm totally done with FB... don't need it don't want it.

And new backup software like Commvault Simpana which we switched to is so complicated with so many different dials and buttons it takes an specialized Commvault 4 year degree to start to understand it o.O!

Patrick I understand your pain. The AD integration works great and as I'm sure you're already aware you can implement CAC with AD. Not being able to control your own AD forest would be a big deal for us if we were in that boat... I too have to deal with strict guidelines on password policy... in fact the 90 days you…

Anyone in IT has been hearing about this for many years... so yeah.

Finding out recently we may need to keep 5 years of logs instead of 1 ugh!

You're right... we gotta open the Schools and who wants to pay 50k per year for Harvard and have it be 100% online. For the people that pay that... you're suckers! Bill

Just great when the offsite monitoring team keeps telling you something is really bad going on and you do NOTHING!!!
-
If I'm not mistaken this isn't the only module that does this. I found even the credentials for deploying agents seems to not allow editing a credential so I'd like to see this across all the modules!

New puppy picture for fun!!!

I usually wait a little while too but I have to say even 11.5 was a nice upgrade... it also added lots of features for NTA and SAM as well when they were upgraded. I'm getting all of this QoS data in NTA now I never had before.

^ I guess it's high voltage and low.

Get a google Pixel 6 Pro... I just got mine setup and the camera's are HUGE upgrade. First new camera to go with the superior camera software google makes. You just have to turn off half the google built in spyware but luckily it can be done with some settings.

Yes blockchain is another overhyped tech thing. It's another example of making something out of nothing basically.
-
We've been asking for this for years so it's great to finally see it!!!
-
We also have OPnet but I've gotta be honest... for the huge expense it's not my favorite toolset. A better improved NTA integrated into our NPM I have seen become better and better all the time... Keep adding features and functionality to NTA.

At least smoked_angus did the screen shot above... I used it.

That's what always didn't work out for me.

These are great btw. We started with Sourcefire but they're now called this. Replaced a ton of IBM sensors, Sidewinder L7 f/w... all in one fell swoop. Come on SolarWinds support these babies sooner than later!

One things for sure we have a LOT of monitoring tools. Not just Orion either.

The key is the word ALL.

Nice mission this month! Wish I didn't miss one earlier on Oct 3rd but I liked it.
