Can't you just load a report you want as starting point then do save-as <new name>... then edit your new saved copy of the report? EDIT: You shouldn't have to start from scratch.

See the following thread I think it might help:

This new perfstack thing is going to make unseating aLTeReGo even harder!

Cisco UCS Manager GUI Configuration Guide, Release 2.0 - Configuring Role-Based Access Control [Cisco UCS Manager] - Cisco Systems User accounts are used to access the system. Up to 48 user accounts can be configured in each Cisco UCS domain. Each user account must have a unique username and password. I might not be…

I think aLTeReGo is going to have to answer this one. When I setup app Insight for SQL I had to create a database user id with specific limited permissions all of which came from a guide on thwack: AppInsight for SQL requirements and permissions - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support

Another thing you could try is to load one of extensions that let you use ie to render web page inside a FF tab as a workaround until you figure out what's causing it.

Jswan- I'm using ff3.6.2 with the following extensions and NOT having the problem with NTA3.6-

It would be cool if now that InfoBlox are becoming mainstream if NPM would support them out of the box. I've been working on trying to get a undp that will work to monitor them with some success. We have fairly recently replaced all our windows dns servers with Infoblox devices.

See this post: Also Michal Brutvan is the Senior Developer for the Network Atlas team and he might know if there's anything you can do... good luck. EDIT: Dang Mike beat me to posting this :P I was trying to send you his way and he was already on it :}

That's probably just a cached rendering of your map because as far as I know the if you're running version 9.5+ of NPM... all the maps are stored in the SQL Database now. You may want to open a case or if someone else here understands the tables for the network atlas they might be able to tell you if all is lost or not. If…

I used to use custom properties in my hover over pop ups in Network Atlas maps... it worked fine with ${custompropertyname} Now i'll have to check as I had switched from atlas maps to the newer one until the background maps stopped working recently. Oh I just noticed you said group custom properties not node custom…

I have a bunch of FEX attached to my nexus. Uploading what I've got.

It's also about the rollup of the stats over time when older statistics are summarized. That's why the recent part of the graph looks normal and the older data on same graph looks like dots.

The install finally completed. I ended up having to re-license NPM offline since my server is in a DMZ... but after getting that right it looks like everything is back up and running. Not sure why my original upgrade hung for soooooo long at Installing SolarWinds Collector 2.0 but d@ng it's a relief to have NPM back up and…
-
wonderful... I can't repair the old version either... it immediately says i have to finish the current install first.... At least I backed up my database and webconfig before trying this.... When I upgraded from 9.5.1 to 10 I never had any problems like this.
-
I tried to rerun the installer and it uncompresses the msi's etc. then says it's doing visual c++ runtime etc. then jumps right to the same place 2/3rd of solarwinds collector 2.0 and fails almost immediately.

Seems I wasn't the first to notice this: Missing links on nodes in group view To me this a bug big time. I'm willing to bet more people have this and maybe don't realize it yet!
-
This link might help a little with the icons changing color versus the colored circle or square or background changing color: Also as far as layering is concerned I think you mean nested maps maybe? Checked out nested maps in the admin guide:…

I have on and off problems with a few of these services... I'll check some more. I'll see event log messages like one has been restarted like 50 times.
-
I too have noticed this behavior and you're correct... without node information these alerts don't mean much. I like the hardware monitoring a lot but I've noticed some of my Cisco devices including a couple nexus switches with TON'S of sensors seem to have the habit of showing the green hardware sensor up messages for…

Hehe I think we almost all forgot about it!!!

with the massive netapp storage I have I'm getting literally thousands of these Volume Index Changed messages all day long... this really causes information overflow in the events list masking other information you might want to see... trying to decide how to deal with this: 1/10/2013 10:20 AM servername-/vobstore/****-…

You could also the name the range of IP's so it always shows with a label too!

Besides the default global refresh setting you could try: http://yrefresher.software.informer.com/ With this in IE at least you can custom set the refresh for individual clients. As a work around this might speed up your refresh cycle for ops people to monitor a special display.

I too am able to use $DNS in multiple locations even map hover overs. One thing I've noticed is if there is no data for the variable I just get the variable name back ie. ${variablename} Another example I find is with system MIB variables... if they aren't set I get back instead of the Location and Contact info the…

Note I can run network atlas from a client machine and save maps but when I go and place the map resource on my NPM homepage I get this instead of the map: Unexpected error: An error occurred while generating map 19fc7673-32f3-4681-886d-95a06a1154f5.OrionMap The thing that really makes this bad is that of my Three NPM…
