Trust me guys and gals... tdanner would know. Also using the API versus things like accessing the database directly with SQL is the whole reason to use the API. While the schema of the database may change the API doesn't so you have a consistent method to access the Orion platform.

The big thing is will Replace syslog/trap with the functionality from our new Log Manager product be a new module and how will this work exactly?
