I think the question is do you need to have a mirrored set of Orion and module licenses or are just one set of NPM/SAM/etc licenses needed for failover? Do they need two sets of NPM/SAM/etc licenses for failover from one server to the other?

I would guess Orion plus whatever modules you run x 2 plus the HA2.0 license: High Availability Architecture - Failover Clusters | SolarWinds I assume you only need one license for HA2.0 which will cover a pair right aLTeReGo? Also if you really want it fully redundant then you'll also want more than one SQL server as well…

After some sorting on the secondary poller versions it's working again!

The improved install/upgrade is really really needed.

Here's some tips that saved me: Memory displaying correctly for new IOS XE devices??? Cisco 4400's??? and the main poller I used created by SW Staff: Cisco ASR Showing 95% 98% Memory Used. Thanks again for your help... now that those are fixed I'll see if I can use the force and wluther tips to fight the evil report…

Mine has blanks for the %cpu and %ram I don't remember it ever having blank before... I think this happened in upgrading the the main poller and modules recently.

This same thing happened to me when upgrading NPM and all my modules recently... this report broke and doesn't show the %CPU and %RAM any longer...

Yeah you can integrate your APE on the main box and share the same source IP. Believe it or not it's actually been around a while too: Not-So-Stupid Poller Tricks Time flies.

We also decided to NOT stack our pollers and leave each on their own independent virtual machine. The single IP thing sounds good but I'm afraid we won't get the same ability to scale having them all on one VM even with a bunch of CPU's. Also now that EOC has been completely re-written with the Orion core code at it's base…

I haven't made the jump yet myself but after a LOT of reading of others problems I haven't seen this one before. Also like silverbacksays​ usually running the config wizard and selecting all the options fixes stuff like this for us. Let us know how it goes.

That sounds promising as well. I know some vendor proprietary solutions are helping get around some of the limitations.
