That's a pretty elegant solution dan... nice one.
-
I also had this problem more recently... luckily my last upgrade to 10.4.1 made the problem go away.
-
I'd like to know if this is still a problem as I have a Full Name customer property for Interface names of network devices. As everyone knows sometimes these are labeled by the operating system with Names like: Team #0 EthernetAdapter #2 vmxnet3 EtherNetAdapter #2 Do "#" symbols still break Network Atlas from being able to…

Not any longer but at another company we used a bunch of those switches which if i'm not mistaken were rebadged 3com internals... they has a severe bug in their STP algo and never fixed it... this fortune company I worked for ripped all of these ibm switches out and replaced everything (at considerable expense) with, at…

It happened automatically because my outlook client was trying to respond that I accepted the meeting request... nothing serious :^}

Wow that sounds really troubling frank geesh! I'm sure you've checked this too but have you run the permissions checker too to see if any security policy is preventing something from being updated or accessed somewhere?
-
Wow Frank that is super great news!!! That seems a little flaky to me but I'm so glad you got it worked out either way!
-
Good Luck Frank and make sure to keep us posted... that's a rough thing to not have work with all of the patches and HF's applied!
-
Hey frank that looks exactly like what I was getting before I loaded Hot Fix 6... are you sure HF6 really went on? The reason I say is because that looks exactly like mine did without HF6 applied and just the straight 11.5.2 upgrade applied.
-
Hotfix 6 is now on and my Network Sonar scans are now importing!!!
-
Thanks again for reply... I'm 100% sure this is my problem... well actually a few of my problems o.O! I have the memory/cpu and TCP/IP connection and memory leak in BusinessLayer alerting problem in addition to the at least the Network Discoveries does not complete problem... I love not having to open a case when I run…
-
Yes!!! It sure does. I haven't applied any hotfix's yet! I was considering HF6 because I think I have the problem where the v3 service seems to fail and makes the whole webserver stop functioning logons after it runs for while... maybe HF6 will fix both problems! Also I was considering just doing the three updates that are…

This looks like the safer route to me wluther it always seems safer to me to create brand new resources and use on your pages versus editing the ones that are part of the actual application... like you said it can either really break things and/or always get messed up again after you run config wizard or upgrade again! In…

Signed up... I've had a few on our network team asking about more info from ASA's and we have a bunch of them.
-
This compliance reports getting stuck in caching really irritates me... I have to go into the database and change the status to get ANY compliance reports to run... this isn't a great design I don't think. Also not making it so an admin can fix the problem from the web interface makes it even worse!
-
Thanks. The good news is I think since this is a new IS that everything can be installed without the STIG in effect first... I just don't want to break it all because looking at notes from another installers notes they stated they applied the STIG and it broke NPM so badly they ended up having to completely rebuild the…

Maybe you could fill people in on what you had to do to resolve the problem or what the issue causing it was?
-
Here's another thread about FullName updates:
-
I think I see what you mean... maybe add one called Down Nodes - Tree
-
No funny wiszm23 that's actually one of the only NPM modules I don't have.
-
That's funny!
-
They look very different... but similar too!
-
They have very light coloring and very similar as well. Look like good dogs.
-
I've had 3 Pembroke Corgi over the years... Corgi are the best smartest dogs!!! those huskies look really neat too! I like all dogs and am extremely allergic to cats... big no no on cats for me.
-
Is the dog wearing sweater?
-
That's a really good looking dog there Kellie! Cappy looks happy!
-
Unfortunately all these success center links are broken and I have this problem...
-
My biggest problem with this is granting full control to things that don't necessarily need them... this may depend on the kind of environment you work in ie. a development one or not. To me this is like turning part of your firewall off because you can't figure out why something doesn't work with port traffic. And yes now…
-
hehe yeah... and somehow I doubt that's how they dress for work most days...

What about if the exchange server requires authentication? It's been a while since I had to deal with firewall rules to an excange server from a dmz. May have to just try it with TCP/25 from NPM server to Exchange server permit and see what happens.
