Thanks I'm currently putting more exports onto 6513's lately and some of the older articles on thwack are too dated back to like 2009... ios had updated a lot since. A lot is still the same but some of the old tricks and work arounds aren't necessary any longer if you just put basic part of config in and then add the ip…

I said release candidate above because I think there's a post 11.5.2 RC out there called some higher number...

Thanks for sharing... I really like those.

Lets see something new!!! EOC... NPM... anyone done something crazy with NPM 10.3.1+ ???
-
I cracked up when seeing the message at the top of your map... DO NOT CHANGE THIS MAP! - DO NOT CHANGE THIS MAP! - DO NOT CHANGE THIS MAP! - DO NOT CHANGE THIS MAP! Priceless :}
-
That did it wolram thanks a bunch the default was causing /usr/local to show 92% full and constantly alert on over 90%... it was driving us all crazy getting all those emails.

This is the kind of thing I like to know about... when something doesn't exactly go as planned. I'm sure some of these are greatly magnified by the scale of polling being done. I would assume if you are pushing the limits of the s/w to begin with that any little change could effect how things scale.

It's actually the same information...
-
This works and is the only way I know to get rid of the evil grey interfaces or volumes...
-
Yeah how many people that new to the product are even on Thwack yet at that point?
-
I'll have to look but the ones that aren't right usually always say the same thing (big negative number like -15 to -30 and set the alarms off. If this switch is looking at these and the module don't support the monitoring on the modules then why would they report these negative numbers at all??? Shouldn't they just not…
-
Yes it's a pain because most of my big switches have a bunch of te interface that are like this all of the time. This really fills up the events with messages when you have huge switches o.O
-
Up to this point from my experience it all or nothing with hardware monitoring... this is bad bacause some of the ones I have trouble with tons of interfaces are like big Cisco 9k nexus switches... these are my core switches which really makes turning off hardware monitoring on not what I would prefer.... I also have those…

I can confirm... NSX isn't cheap. It took almost an act of congress to get it approved here.
-
Yeah it's nice to actually have the options work!

I have a complex alpha numeric and special character community string that is quite long... I've found out the hard way on my own that my string works for all of my Cisco devices except one model we use... the 3750's... for them I have to use a shorter abbreviated string. The messed up part of it is the 3750's would take…

HD Cameras can really hurt bandwidth utilization.

I like byrons method and a bonus... it doesn't require APM :}

Thanks for the reply Sean. The funny thing is I never changed any of these from when they were working before (v10)... I'm guessing the new version (10.1.2sp1) must have changed something with the variables are de-referenced or something... Anyway I took the full reference out ie. ${Interface.OutPercentUtil} and changed it…

Sent 5585-X with hostnames and serial removed.

Are you using Firesight VM to manage the IPDS inside your -X ASA's? The newer versions of ASDM do show some of this info about the firepower modules... some of this same info at a minimum would be nice to show without going down the full blown firesight road.

This was bugging the h3ll out of me for a long time. I'm on Orion Core 2012.2.1, SAM 5.5.0, NPM 10.4.1, NTA 3.10.0, IVIM 1.5.0 now and I think it was the upgrade to NPM 10.4.1 that fixed the problem for me and it went away on it's own after the upgrade. It's disheartening to hear you are having the same problem and on the…

Looks like the only thing you changed is the database name to Solarwinds_Orion and added " TopX="All" TopXCount="10" TopXPercent="10" Orientation="Landscape" CookedData="TRUE" Web="TRUE" ShowFolders=""><QueryBuilder><Fields></Fields><Filter></Filter></QueryBuilder><LayoutGroups></LayoutGroups><Fields></Fields></Report> at…
