From my experience always bring NPM up to date with the core orion services first... the upgrade planner in the customer portal is really your friend with this... it's even better than trying to follow the old guides. Also as I said run the permissions checker to make sure all of the permissions are correct for everything.

People have done a work around for this by for example setting the server to a specific timezone. Then creating a custom property of each device and putting the + or - from servers timezone in the property. as njoylif said in the view you create (or an existing one... click on customize page) you just add the report as a resource... after you add it to view when you goto the view there will be a link there you click on to select the report you want to add there.
