Now there's some ghetto spoilerage! Lololol carboard and 2x4's!

It's definately a step in the right direction but a lot has changed... it took us a little while to figure a few things out... the new ports that need to be open is one thing I can see maybe causing me some problems in production which I don't have inside my test cloud of VM's.
-
Mostly all SW tools now... moving a merged company over from WUG now into Orion. Remedy for trouble tickets... not a huge fan. SEP, SCOM.
-
I like the one about 40% of the VM's on Azure are linux... we have many linux VM's on our cloud as well.
-
I like the way you lay stuff out and document the changes aLTeReGo... you've always done a good job mixing some text with pictures to make it easy to understand. Props for that!
-
This is really neat! As long as firewall permits the applications traffic netpath can mimic it without needing ICMP and traceroute it sounds like!
-
Me too... it was one of the worst in months. Also everyone else got two chances... I only got one. o.O
-
I don't... I think you're born with it to a degree. Also just think about people that are sociopaths... you can't reform or teach them to not be a sociopath... they just are.
-
Security has also changed much of Federal space... everything is about reducing risk ie. Risk Management Framework - RMF. Ironically all this hybrid and hosted stuff is basically one HUGE security risk!!!

being really annoying daily

@"the_ben_keen" I totally agree with all your sentiment. Between the thackcamps, SWUG's, Cisco Lives, and years on thwack it's been a really good journey. Usually when I have technical issues I look on thwack first before even opening any case because most often someone has been through the same thing before already. I've…

My biggest driving factor and challenge is the fact that most of the AI currently depends on the cloud for running the models. For air-gapped networks this is a problem. This means we have to build our own infrastructure and the cost is $$$$$ right now.

Lol Thomas that Apple article was funny... yes I took delivery of my new Google Pixel XL 2 and I love it! I love the MS message Do Not Turn off your PC message!
-
Get this we have “13000 employees” IT Operations is supporting 43% of the company’s employees externally connected: 1105 connected via our web solution 4463 connected on VPN 5568 total external employees connected You gotta think RSA, Cisco and MS must be loving the licensing going on right now with some products. The raw water thing is totally ridiculous! Also from what I heard on the radio it can cost 70$ for a 2.5 gallon jug. As if bottled water wasn't already a rip off... now it's way way way worse!
-
Oh no you didn't!
-
I know a little about the command posts... we make something called CPOF- Command Post of The Future! We've been doing it for years.
-
Dang leon gets the good trips...

I did notice the AMD just dropped the price of both new processors! Also you're right about the asset management. That's really the first place everything should start as far as I'm concerned even though I hate doing asset management!
-
I think it's from Cisco directly.
-
Security is hard... I'm still trying to get my new LEM1000 installation down to do what I need it to do. It can be pretty powerful once you figure out which connectors you need. The biggest pain I'm having is which connectors to use with the linux and Solaris agents.
-
Virtualization is really only now beginning to fully develop. With NSX VMware is really taking virt to the next level!

Ralphie
-
They wouldn't do it during thwack camp Eric!
-
With metasploit being so well supported by the community... you better keep up on your patching because once an exploit is revealed it doesn't even take hours sometimes for a metasploit payload to be created!!!
-
NPM netpath will help with this along with QOS time to first packet.
-
Yep and it was good to see you @"wluther" and @"danielleh" at SWUG in PHX! I appreciated being able to see you in person for a change! Also on another note... I made headway with SEM licensing! It's hitting pay dirt right now! Bill

Is this in your house?

Stopping code red worm back in the day was pretty neat... it blasted traffic out so much that one infected machine could pretty much bring down the entire segment. Nothing like a hardware sniffer to find the MAC and IP address of the infected machine and then either shutdown the interface (if you could even get logged into…
