Ugh. I had a boss that did this. Every time I sent him an e-mail asking questions I would find a print out of the e-mail on my desk with his answers written in red.

Somebody has to say it. A lot of these stories are exactly why IT is frowned upon by so many people. Our job is to give people the tools they need to do their job, not be unnecessarily rude, condescending, and judgmental. This is also why a lot of IT staff is stuck in the basement and not allowed to interact with people.

Congratulations! That's awesome.

I used to work for a very small company in a typical office park environment. We were having connectivity issues, and I was trying to trace the cables, and they all led into the floor. I asked what was under the building so I can check on the wiring, and was told there was a crawl space. I asked how to get down there, and…

I just got out of a meeting and we just described this exact process. This On-Demand Approval function would be a great benefit for us. Any idea where this is in the WHD road map?

Where do you see this listed? Reporting is really lacking right now. It's as if it was an after thought. For me as a manager, reporting is critical to my review process. Woo hoo! My kids are going to love flying this thing around the campground this summer!

We're running 12.3. Very strange. It just started working.

It's pretty much useless.

Wow. Thanks. You guys really break your ticket types down. There are some in your list that will work perfectly for us.

Agreed. If the bundled reporting wasn't so bad, this wouldn't be an issue. I'm trying to setup some reporting, but I am getting very inconsistent results. A data dictionary would be a HUGE help!

Thank you! This is perfect!

I'd like to be able to do something similar, and take it one step further. Based on the request type, and the specific landing page, I'd like different fields listed. For example, for new hire requests, I need their name, title, department, start date, etc. I don't need this info for procurement requests.

These are the Request Types we setup. To early to tell if they work or not. - Application - App 1 - App 2 - App 3 - Other - Conferencing - Backup/Restore - Change Request - Email - FTP - Hardware - PC - Mobile - Provisioning - Internet - General IT/Other - Network - VPN - Wired - Wireless - Phone/Voicemail - Printer/Toner…

This would be awesome for sure.
