ditto, need this since our Red Hat servers are moving to RHEV as well

can also turn off line numbers in Config Details View.

...mind you i should perhaps give it more time ? Last week's bad values (a spike) is still there, but nothing since.

I have yet to hear back from customer support since submitting my trouble ticket hours ago. (Case #120677) I am currently running 9.5 SP4. After performing the steps above, NPM website performance seems much better. 'JobEngine35.sdf' was ~40Mb in size.

i upgraded to SP4 and still bad CPU values. I'll try to open a ticket later if/when i find the time.
-
i'm also seeing same issue, but with a + 5 hour offset.

great, thanks Warbird. Now we wait. Dave

I'm running ESX 3.5 on Orion NPM 9.1 SP3 and still seeing issues with CPU stats...
-
thanks John, I submitted a support ticket. Strange that the potential fixes aren't posted here. Dave

I am in same boat. Problem appears to be with 'solarwinds orion module engine' (tons of memory consummed by the 'Solarwinds.BusinessLayerHost.exe'). A troublesome restart of the 'Solarwinds Orion Module Engine' fixes it temporarily, just matter of time before it faults again. Dave

Just an FYI...I just upgraded to Orion v9.1 SP1 this morning, and those charts still work. Just out of curiousity, if you goto 'START>Programs>Solarwinds Orion>Wireless Monitor>Wireless Networks... In there do you have any Access Points listed and managed ?
-
I'd like the hotfix please and thanks. Dave

I'm having this sort of trouble on all my CatOS as well. I added a '>' to the prompt and everything worked after that. Am i faced with having to change all the prompts ?..or is there something in the templates i can edit ? Thanks for the help. Dave

Sounds good, thanks Michal.

Case # 737666 , now appears to be resolved (works since implementing the following steps) Support wrote... Upon checking, I found the following from the TrapService log. 2015-01-05 07:37:40,175 [6] ERROR TrapService.OID - Error occured trying to parse value! Returning value as is! System.OverflowException: Value was either…

I gave you two oids in my post... why haven't you tried them ?
-
@DaveC09 ... glad it's all working. @jonchill... ha !... it must be a bug cuz that was happening to me as well. What I had to do is goto Engineering Toolset and used it's 'MIB WALK' tool to find the OID and copy and pasted it from there to the UDP.

If you look at the 'Node Details' for the 1250's, you'll find that the 'Machine Type' is only listed as 'Cisco' (with no other description). I think this causes Orion to not recognize this device as a wireless device ? You can force the wireless view to the Object Type 'Cisco' by going to Admin>Views by Device Type and…

Anytime i have syslog issues, it's usually due to improper IP address being used in setup. So if you can confirm the following... * on your Cisco router , ensure that 'logging x.x.x.x' you mentioned above is indeed pointing to your solarwinds server ip address. * You also mentioned above that you have 'logging…

Thanks for the reply, tried clearing webcache and local machine web browser cache with no luck... Maybe i'm not lookin in proper place ?...

upgrading to 12.5 resolved this issue for me. thanks again.
-
Sorry, misunderstood original question. Are these the ones you are referring to in custom charts ?
-
You need to choose 'Linear Gauge' as opposed to 'Radial Gauge' when assigning the resource to node's page...
-
you're probably right. Any chance of going to version 3.6.4.E ? A few of us on this thread are running it without issue.
-
i'm also seeing same issue, but with a + 5 hour offset.
-
thanks steshi !... I'll try upgrading to 12.5

We recently purchased IPAM. But in order to replace our 'in-house' product with IPAM, we'd also need... 1) the ability to update DNS when entering IP information. 2) Ability to ping sweep a subnet within IPAM . (preferrably not via an external tool such as the engineering toolset). If these features can be added to…
