You can also create an export job and export the config with at .txt extension.

Are you still having this problem? If so this may fix it Try this - edit subnet properties and check tis box Automatic Scanning Disable Automatic Scanning Update but not erase manually entered data

Good old Solarwinds -they changed everything up on the new version Now it is called ServiceMonitorId and there are multiple NetPath_Performance tables, one per day
-
Can you please share the query? My boss is wanting alerting on this too and Solarwinds flat out said it isn't supported.
-
On my system that folder is empty

LOL – let me know – cause I don’t want to have to do it every day either. If someone could point me to where it is saved (either locally or in the database), then I could figure out a script to get the info.

This was what I was looking for : background: #373737 url(../images/sample.png) ----this sample.png is the image that you want to put in your banner I was able to change the color and the logo. Saved the changed file as .old so that I can restore it whenever I do an upgrade.

What about this? I cant test it as I have only one poller Copying NCM Scheduled Jobs Between Servers When you install an additional poller, and move node(s) from the main NCM server to the additional polling engine server, the jobs related to the node(s) do not automatically move to the additional poller. You can quickly…

I tried that - same result.

Sadly, it isn't a great alternative. If you go to the Jobs page and click on History, and then save, it will save the history as a .log file (or you can change it to .txt). What I do is save it daily and then clear the log. This gives me new content every day. I then compile each days logs into one file and then run a…

Actually I was referring to both Description and Display Name on the left hand side.

Thank You - I will take a look there.

Here is the requested info

They have actually fixed the issue in 7.2.1 - you can now save the job results as files (htm or txt) and, by adding the variable ${Date} it adds the date to the filename.
-
I will touch base with you off post to get it to you...or not - I cant message you because we aren't "connected"
-
I second that request - I am not a coder so I don't really know what to look for, but I like the idea
-
I am having the opposite problem. I could monitor my stackports in version 12.2.25, but I upgrade to 12.2.52 and now the stackports are no longer showing.
-
Well - we are at 7.2 and this still does not work!! Any ideas?
-
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction - the command on the newer versions is "no cli session paging enable"
-
This can be done in NCM - simply create a Execute Script Job with the following parameters: "sh int status | in tx" or "sh int status | in sx" and select the nodes you want it applied to.

I have a uploaded a Huawei template that works if you still have issues. Huawei-1.3.6.1.4.1.ConfigMgmt-Commands
-
In NCM 7.2.1 this is possible; Send config change notifications Send a notification if the downloaded config file is different than the:Last downloaded config file of the selected typeBaseline config fileStartup config file

I was told by development that it was indeed taken out of v7.2. I emailed the head of Dev and he stated that they are looking at putting it back in down the road, but he had no time frame of when this would occur. I have figured out how to do it manually, but that is a pain.
-
Thanks - had just found that
-
Another easier way to do this is to use the Subnet Allocation Wizard. It automatically sets up the SuperNet and then you can set the size of your subnets and select them. Tom

We had this problem occasionally - and realized it was because all sessions were being used. For some reason NCM was not signing out correctly and the session stayed active. We set all our vty sessions with exec-timeout 5 and have not had a problem since then.

I like it!!! How did you do it?

This is from another blog on the forum The parameter after STOP and START need to be enclosed within double quotes (and not the ones Word replaces on you with). 1. Locate the Toolset IP Address Manager database on your Toolset server. Note: The Toolset IP Address Manager database has an .ipdb extension. 2. Copy the Toolset…
