We did put a ticket in as well. I didn't speak to them directly, our storage guy did. To sum up the differences (if I heard him correctly) SRM calculates space set aside for snapshots. So netapp shows 5GB, but SRM shows 4GB, because 1GB is partitioned for something else (in our case snapshots). This makes sense to me,…

Always the person with the answers! Will let client know it is time to get to moving on upgrading those servers.

Any word on a time frame on this? I am in the same boat with security team flagging me.
-
This is what did it more than likely. I did other things that may have helped, but I think the first step of clearing the .NET cache did the trick. The what was inside was almost a gig in size. Clearing it, giving it time to re-create/do it's thing and it is screaming when navigating pages. thank you for your help…

Going through steps now. This looks familiar with the C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files\root, this part i think the tech tried to do, but wouldn't let him because the www publishing service was still turned on. will let you know what happens

I currently have a ticket in with them for this. I tried a fix they gave me, but I'm at the point in which I ran a diagnostic and uploaded it. The steps I tried before was this, didn't work for me though: FROM THE TECH'S EMAIL: There is definitely a known issue with SAM 6.2.x that is a bug that is currently being tracked.…

That was quick, this install didn't even install NTA.......will try to re-install it and see what I get. Not sure who to attach this to, @"aLTeReGo"
-
Not only is this not ok, but the web console where you disable it according to support doesn't really do anything (under agent global settings). I believe I saw a post where @"aLTeReGo" responded and said it could be disabled on the database individually. Now the tech person is telling me it can't be disabled that way…

where did you uncheck 3 boxes ? somewhere in solarwinds or on the call managers themselves? I am having the same issue as well. If i navigate in my browser, I'm able to see a page with a bunch of xml information. If i use post man from the poller, the call manager returns a generic 500 internal server error. I'm stuck in…

aLTeReGo for president! I appreciate the information. I certainly support 2012 either way, I don't really know why management would make this kind of thing a discussion to be honest. In case anyone is curious, here is exactly what the types of support are. "main stream support", "extended support", etc.. Microsoft Support…

I will have to look it up and see what was causing it. Upgraded to NPM 11.5.2 and SAM 6.2.1 in August and I think hotfix 4. I was worried I fubar'd something.
-
As stated above, there was no rhyme or reason to the name changes. It didn't matter if it was Windows, Linux, VM, Physical, WMI or SNMP monitoring. I had another issue happen, contacted tech support and they re-installed the services on my Orion box. As an unintended result this also fixed servers changing names.…

I'm running into the same issue with Windows boxes. I'm running SAM 6.2.1 and NPM 11.5.2 . I do have a few that are doing this that are being monitored through SNMP. I'm still researching and trouble shooting them, but it seems like it is newly added servers atm. I'm currently suspecting it is when some of the other techs…

Sorry, I wasn't descriptive enough. I did add as external node, but I didn't have an IP for the object. I wanted to know if there was a way to add something without having an IP. I just typed with a bogus IP to get it to work. If i try with just a name: Its just an object out on the floor we may have to cycle the power on…

Is it from a custom query on your page or something out of box? Show a screenshot on where they disappear from. Also, are they clearing or staying active but not showing where you are looking?

You are a rock star! Thank you very much!

You are my hero! Thank you very much!

Looks like the closest I saw, and this came out pretty recent. I don't think they are going to release too much info with what is happening under the hood. Auto Dependencies in NPM vs. Application Dependencies in SAM - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support

Solarwinds isn't too keen on dates for product releases, which I get. They seem like the type that want to release it when it is right and not box themselves in with a hard date. I would estimate 6 weeks based on their past RCs, but take that with a grain, it is a guess. Anything could happen during the RC phase and set it…

The link above was updated on 2/15/19 to include a few more products. There are only a few still to be tested at this point, if anyone was keeping up.

Thank you Neo! Although I am unable to view perfstack 2.0 link. It says access denied. I thought I was special. Can you copy paste any of the notes?

Hope this helps MathieuJM, co-worker and I have been knocking around with this: Object was down for ${SQL:Select '${N=Alerting;M=Downtime}'/1440} Days ${SQL: Select '${N=Alerting;M=Downtime}'%1440/60} Hours ${SQL: Select '${N=Alerting;M=Downtime}'%1440%60;} Minutes The first part "Object was down for" you can put that as…

I have been trying to solve the same issue myself and no luck. I've started going through the tables to see how it is stored. If I find how it is stored, I will let you know. I'm running SAM 6.2.3 and NPM 11.5.3. It is weird it shows up on the webconsole, I will try to look through the HUBBLE tool and figure it out if…

These are the answers I was looking for. The environment that is where the problem exists, I do not work on and do not have admin rights to even see settings in the web interface. I'm in the data center and manage SAM and NPM. I manage our environment, update, etc. but I have no pollers set up as the other team does for…

Has anyone heard any updates on when this will be resolved?
-
It looks like today's release fixed the issue, I think. I just installed it. I got a weird error message at end of config wizard that said error 'packages' weren't able to install, but didn't list what didn't install. All products are currently running in Orion Service Manager. When I get time to poke around, I will let…

I am as well. Was working fine with 2020.2 RC2 in my sandbox, not my services tab looks just like yours. Netflow service is stopped, when i start, just stops again. I ran config wizard to try to resolve, but no luck. Anyone heard of any fixes on this yet?

Any future plans with this product? Been a while since any updates, and calling support for the UDT line usually goes past the 1 hour queue time and boots me out.
