Can you provide more details? Are you expecting an IP to be used and it is not being showed as used? Have you tried to ping the IP from the Solarwinds Server/Polling Engine and see if the IP would respond? documentation.solarwinds.com/.../ipam_getting_started_guide.htm

If you select Stop Polling, It would affect the Availability report and any other report. If you choose Mute Alerts, that's all it would do, it would suppress the alert for that node.
