DHCP is not really a requirement but it can help. As for the Scanning interval, depends on how many IP addresses on your IPAM environment and the frequency you want to scan those subnets. In your case though, I don't really think it would help as when it does scan the IP, it scans it via SNMP and if you have neighbor…

How does IPAM detect conflicts? IPAM primarily looks for differences in MAC addresses, from two distinct simultaneous scans for a single IP Address, within a subnet. Conflict Scenarios: SNMP versus SNMP Neighbor: This type of conflict will occur when there is a difference in MAC addresses retrieved from the ARP table of…

I would start with enabling hubble when this happens. https://solarwindscore.my.site.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Turn-on-and-use-Hubble?language=en_US From there you will have an idea where the issue might be. Not really a fix but rather something to start with troubleshooting

Migrate first the DB documentation.solarwinds.com/.../migrate_the_solarwinds_orion_sql_database_to_a_new_server.htm Then follow the steps below. https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/orionplatform/content/migrate_solarwinds_to_a_new_server_with_a_new_ip_and_hostname.htm Below is a video how to migrate the…

It looks like it is is calculating more than the polling interval. It is off by one minute. That is expected as it seems you edited the node warning level to 10 seconds from 120 seconds while retaining the Polling Interval. The default Node Warning Level interval is 120 seconds.…

You can attend SWUG and you can ask Solarwinds Directly. thwack.solarwinds.com/.../solarwinds-user-group-returns-virtual-edition

so what you are doing is the right thing. What I'm recommending is for you to check the service account being used by Serv-U. if the service account being used by serv-u is does not have the right permissions to the path, it cannot give access to those created accounts.

Check the service account Serv-U is using if it has access to those UNC path. Check via Services.msc and look for Serv-U
-
Maybe you can try to initiate a fail over. Turn off the Active Main poller. It should initiate the fail over.

I would think that if last field update is less than the last poll, it would no longer be current and it will appear as last seen. As you can see, the last update are all on the same time so that means it was gathered via the layer 2 Polling all at the same time for the particular device.
-
is the LastUpdate field the current date in UTC?

calling the poster poor is uncalled for.

You are only describing moving the DHCP server to a different poller. Did you also move the subnets to a different Poller? solarwindscore.my.site.com/.../Update-EngineID-on-the-IPAM-Module

Please elaborate with what you mean by APE Migration(Not solatrwinds Platform)

Alright!
-
I don't think so. Although you will not be able to put the overlapping subnets in.
-
hmm. That doesn't make sense at all. It works for SNMP but not for ICMP on the new environment. And you confirmed that they can be pinged from the new environment. All the other recommendations below make sense generally but it seems to be the SNMP works, but not the ICMP which is really weird. The only thing I can think…
-
Try pinging them from the new Solarwinds Environment.
