What was the fix?

If you are not having issues why can't you uninstall the agent?

You can try sending to support. As I said, usually is the memory reserved for configuration, the device won't see all the available memory as available.

What I am trying to say is that your Operation System is not alright, if you can't uninstall something is wrong there. I would recommend that you use the registry to do it. Under Programs and Features, the agent is the product name in my case was SolarWinds Agent 1.6.1647.0 Go to the registry search for the ProductName…

Not really. "If a customer chooses to include Log Manager in their new build/upgrade" the trap viewer and syslog viewer will cease to function. All the syslogs and traps being sent to the server will still be received, but now Log Manager is the one managing the logs.

Actually, we already have a feature request for that, please go check it out and vote! Network Performance Monitor Feature Requests

No software is necessary hardware health comes through SNMP/WMI polling.

First, use the following resources for planning and upgrading: Use the Product Upgrade Advisor to build your upgrade path. The path provides the exact products and versions to upgrade in a sequence to the latest versions. As you are upgrading NPM and other modules, use the multiple products upgrade guide. The guide…

The node status by default uses ICMP, basically, it will poll every 120 seconds, if no reply STATUS = WARNING and Fast Polling occurs every 10s for 120 seconds. If still no reply after those 12 polls STATUS = DOWN. Under edit node, under SNMP credentials do you receive a failed test? Which version are you polling, v2 or…

You can schedule a job to execute a Script every day if you want. By default, you load the script from a file. However, to collect a new file every day automatically you will need to use the API/SDK.

If you can't uninstall the agent, you are having SO issues. I would use the Microsoft tool "Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed" and try to reinstall.

Turn on session tracing, we can use the data to find out why is not recognizing. It may have a memory amount that is reserved for configuration.

Not yet, that may be inserted in the installation package. Right now they have the new NPM 12.0.1 - SolarWinds-NPM-v12.0.1-Full-CU1 NPM 12.0.1 with Cumulative Update 1 contains: Orion Platform HotFix 1 NPM HotFix 1 NetPath HotFix 1 I know they don't disclose something like that. So, can happen.

"You can now add Universal Device Pollers to your PerfStack projects no differently than any other metric. Universal Device Pollers for both Nodes and Interfaces are supported and appear under their respective entity type. When you select an interface for example, which has Universal Device Pollers assigned, the 'Group'…

I suggest you to try using the Orion SDK. You can also vote for the SAP MONITORING feature request or open a new one requesting this integration.

Thresholds are based on best practices. Checking status against the device is not very efficient, comparing the values polled thought is the best way to troubleshoot. If Cisco has a different threshold on this device, just adjust on SolarWinds to warn on the same threshold.

neomatrix1217 , fatset5 and orioncrack all correct. Yes, you can have all the modules on the application server. The best practices require a separated NetFlow Storage Database, good new about this one is that you don't need an extra SQL license, the storage database is a built-in database installed with the installation…

Depend upon on what resources are you looking for. What are the resources?

This may be related to the upgrade, I've been there. Try Syslog and Traps services does not start and Manage Nodes option is missing after upgrading to NPM 12.0.1

Let me see if I understood, the value that you get back from that OID is not numbers is actually the SSID name?

I have come across the same error. When I changed the email to madeup@domain.com the execution worked. Since I was using email custom property the error was pointing to value 24 on that custom property I deleted the value and re-tested, worked. I re-added the email and worked. I believe the error were in the database value…
