Permissions are applied at user/ group level so these can be set so users can only do certain things. This isn’t related to having an additional website server, your issue will be connecting the server from a non secure environment to a secure environment…

This is wrong part of the forum for this question, but another option would be to use the dns name if you have dns setup otherwise install the Solarwinds agent. But to be clear at some part of this process the ip will be added to Solarwinds and visible. What is the reason for not using the IP.

Just using what you have above in the screenshot i would change ‘is equal to’ to ‘starts with’ then use ‘.1.3.6.1.’ That would reduce this whole screen to one line and if any get added in the future no further admin needed.

The node ip_address looks to be wrong it should be ‘starts with’ 192.168.

Strangely there does seem to be a reason on the error. “No DNS entries exist for host v45m” which page were you on and what was pressed to get to this error?

Unless you have a Network scan setup that adds SAM templates or the templates themselves are auto adding by using a dynamic query most if not all nodes wont have a SAM template added unless I have misunderstood?
