Yes, we are currently running in parallel with old and new. Would appreciate a walkthrough of the reports you mention above. Or at least pointers to what to run. Thanks, Dirk

Not totally sorted. But instead of importing I just ran a new discovery, based on the nodes I know about. Would be great to have the script working though, for future such migrations for everyone. Now I am trying to figure out how to compare what is using the different licenses. For instance: NCM Current number of nodes 47…

No, not at this moment.

It seems a lot of those scripts are for older versions of modules. Now, my current production Orion is Orion Platform 2018.2 HF5, IPAM 4.7.0, SAM 6.7.0, DPAIM 11.1.0, NCM 7.8, NetPath 1.1.3, NPM 12.3, WPM 2.2.2 But the new one is Orion Platform 2019.2 HF1, WPM 3.0.0, IPAM 4.9.0, NCM 8.0, NPM 12.5, SAM 6.9.0, NetPath 1.1.5…

Sorry, as soon as I posted that my DB found the problem. My username didn't have correct permissions on the DB.

These are/were showing as red. If you have seen my recent posts, this is basically a fresh install of Orion. Manually added all of our firewalls to this install. There is no reason for any residual tunnels to be showing. In fact one of the firewalls we have only ever had 2 tunnels configured at all, and these that show…

I think I might have found my answer. These specific tunnels never existed on this ASA at all. However, it appears that something was attempting to MAKE a S2S VPN connection using several different IPs in series when I happened to notice this in Orion. Looking this morning and I only see the 1 S2S VPN that SHOULD be there,…

I just tried the updated export, that apparently worked. However, on import at least on this one report, I get the following error: Couldn't import report from Interface Bandwidth.xml. Error: Expecting element 'Report' from namespace 'http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/SolarWinds.Reporting.Models'.. Encountered…

I was told to run the offline installer from an ADMIN/Elevated command line and to add '/notests' This bypasses all the checks (Internet/OS/Cert, etc) however, I am still having an issue that it wants to download some SQL components.

Working on reports and report schedules now....... When I first set this one report up I remember seeing a warning about how the URL I was currently using was the IP address, but the URL setup in Orion Config was the actual server name (DNS name). Saying this could cause problems, like making the login page open instead.…

We now have the new Orion server functioning. Got past all our DB hurdles. Now the initial web console is up and wanting to run the discovery wizard. Do we run through this like it is a new install or do we now start looking at the scripts to import things that we want? EDIT: I downloaded the OrionSDK. But can't seem to…

Ok, I've run into my first problem. Running the Solarwinds Configuration Wizard (had to wait for my DBA to create a new DB for me). I have full permissions on the new DB, but when I select the DB, and click NEXT, nothing happens. It visually shows that I click on NEXT, but nothing happens, I even let it sit overnight to…
