It wasn't on the changelog but now all of my Linux boxes are reporting the correct RAM usage. Hurray! However, since the upgrade, my avatar is upsidedown in Thwack.

Ah hah! I think I found the answer. This is what the config should look like!

Ah, disregard the previous question, I found it in the manual. However, the problem is that "Volume" seems to include "Real Memory." Is there a way to look at just filesystems? -s

Awesome, thanks. Hey, do you know the variable name for a Volume when sending the alert? For example... Alert: ${NodeName} filesystem of ${something} is over 95%!

Fixed. You have to enable the option in the use manager.

I wanted to know how to do this also. Thanks.

Still nothing. I think I have to check with Foundry and see what the OID for this is.

Hmm, since it is a virtual interface that exists on every 10 gig port on the router, I'm not sure how to assign a maximum speed to it. I'll play around with it and let you know what happens.

Maybe we should repeat the request?

* If you consider yourself to be network engineer (analyst, admin, consultant), why do you monitor servers in Orion today? * What other capabilities would you like to see us add around server monitoring and why? * Why would you want to monitor the performance of applications like Exchange, SQL, etc in Orion? * When and how…

Bah. Problem fixed. User error.

When you say Novell do you mean SuSe? I know I have a bug in the current version of Novell SuSe where any filesystem over 30 terabytes won't show the numbers correctly and this isn't Solarwinds' fault. It's a bug in net-snmp.

I believe the official answer is no. It was explained to me as being "very difficult." The entire Brocade MIB was recently added to the main MIB database but Orion isn't going to let you scan a Brocade device and monitor traffic at this point. You have to go through this horrible process of creating a single page for each…
