Any updates? We are almost at 100 votes.

Hi Brian, Yes I read the first one but I couldn't find anything specific to NPM or NCM. The setup wizard fails on both products.

Any updates Solarwinds?
-
Hi sqlrockstar, Do any Solarwinds products support RDS? I haven't been able to find any info on it. I spoke with a SQL admin that I work with and he mentioned RDS doesn't allow the SA account to be exposed so it didn't work when he tried. Any workarounds that you know of? Thanks, Danny

Any plans to add this feature Solarwinds?
-
@solarwinds, is this planned to be added? I am very surprised this is something that isn't native. Solarwinds is a lot of money for a product that doesn't do much custom features. It is all up to the customer to build everything out ourselves. I am building out a open source environment that does so much more and for free.
-
Is this in the works Solarwinds? I would be helpful to know. I am not always on the latest NPM and don't want to be If I don't have to.
-
BUMP!
-
We are also looking for this feature. We would like to implement 2FA. If not this how about RADIUS?
-
Solarwinds, get with the program. I would like to monitor Meraki devices but I don't want to expose our environment to do so.
-
Was this ever implemented? My use case is when I create a custom object resource, I would like for that to appear in multiple custom views.
-
Thanks @">shaggyva I couldn't find this in the documentation.
-
As the OP stated it's greyed out so we can't click on it. Any suggestions?
-
This is what we did to get PBF alerts. One for next hop down and one for up.
-
Thanks, helped me out too!
-
That fixed the issue for me also. Thanks BirdDog!
-
Thanks Karlo. Straight to the point.
-
Is there any way to import this into the new web based version of alert manager?
-
Bump. We are trying to get an SLA monitored. Not much on ASA's here.
-
Another bump from a client paying a lot of money. Solarwinds can we get instructions on how to do this or a definitive answer if it can be done? I have tried the cipSecTunInOctets OID but it's not giving me what I need. We want site to site tunnel performance for bandwidth monitoring.
-
Not sure when it was introduced but the newer versions has a pre-canned report named 'connection profiles in the category NCM nodes details.
-
In version 12 it changed slightly in the active alerts screen still but use the dropdown, it's now a tick box named 'pause actions of all alerts"
-
Did you enable the Solarwinds native poller? That should have it show up in the capable nodes.
-
Any suggested config tweaks for performance?

Hi mrinfosecurity, Port security is a good option to prevent the wireless devices from allowing users to connect. If you have Cisco phones connected to the ports it might be difficult because they require 3 MAC addresses if you chain a PC off of the phone. If you have a Cisco WLC it can detect rouge AP's. You can then…
